Cocktails are en vogue now more than ever in Thailand, so much so both visitors and locals can’t wait to seek out and experiment with new flavours in a beverage of their choosing.
As each cocktail that’s created is more complex than the last, Thailand has a real challenge on its hands to create the next best drink on the menu. Of course, each cocktail you’ll see below can be teamed with the unique ingredients of many a Thai dish, including Bangkok's now famous Tom Yum Siam.
Tom Yum Siam
Ingredients

Tom Yum Siam recipe1. Mix all ingredients in a shaker. 2. Serve in rock glass with lemongrass, lime leaf and chili slices as garnish. |
Thai Tang Mou
Ingredients

Thai Tang Mou recipe1. Mix rum, syrup lemon and ginger juice in a mixer. 2. Serve in a tall glass and garnish with watermelon and basil leaves. |
Mekhong Kran
Ingredients

Mekhong Kran recipe1. Mix all ingredients apart from garnish in a mixing tin. 2. Pour into a martini glass with dried bael or orange slice as garnish. |
Mango Sticky Rice
Ingredients

Mango Sticky Rice recipe1. Blend the first 5 ingredients and save a piece of mango for garnish. 2. Pour into martini glass and drizzle coconut cream on top and sprinkle sesame seeds. 3. Garnish with mango piece. |
Thai Coco
Ingredients

Thai Coco recipe1. Add ice to a cocktail shaker. 2. Then add the rum, syrup and lime juice. 2. Shake vigorously or stir until combined and chilled. 3. Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with lime on the rim or the lemongrass spear in the drink. |
Thai Lady
Ingredients
