Malta & Gozo Holidays

Megaliths, medieval dungeons and Calypso’s Cave - Malta is positively mythic. The neighbouring island of Gozo has a distinct character all of its own; here, the colourful countryside is prettier, the pace is slower and there are fewer tourists.

There’s something intriguing about Malta. This curious island is a place where old cobblestoned towns whisper storied tales of mythical legends, and winding backstreets lead you to Renaissance cathedrals, Baroque palaces and beguiling Norman architecture. Malta is fuelled by history and culture, while its honeyed sands and craggy coastlines are never too far away. Discover remote coves tucked into the hillside, shallow shores where little ones can paddle, and natural swimming pools where the water flashes in every shade of blue. What’s more, Malta sees over 300 days of sunshine a year, and its local people are some of the friendliest you’ll ever meet.

Hop on the ferry to Gozo and you’ll notice the change in tempo the second you step onto the island. Gozo is quieter and less crowded than its big sister Malta. This untamed isle will charm you with its wild beauty, sleepy bays and peaceful countryside. Recharge on beaches backed by cliffs and caves, go reef and wreck diving in glassy seas, walk among the walls of an ancient Citadel, and taste traditional Gozitan wood-fired ftira (pizza) in rustic village bakeries.

We are full of ideas and inspiration, so talk to us today for a Malta & Gozo holiday that’ll be personally crafted just for you.

Hidden Gozo By Tuk Tuk

A tuk tuk may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Gozo, but these nippy little open-sided vehicles turn out to be perfect for exploring its enchanting landscapes and historic sights. You’ll spend a happy day zipping along quiet lanes, visiting a dizzying range of highlights. When it comes to natural wonders, there are rock formations created the same way as the now-vanished Azure Window, sweeps of red-sand beach and caves that inspired Homer - not to mention several viewpoints with panoramas to die for. As for the manmade attractions, there are historic churches of all sizes, signal towers and salt pans, plus the delightful capital, Victoria, an ancient fortified city perched on a rocky outcrop in the heart of the island. Many of the places on the itinerary are not accessible on mainstream tours or by public transport, so this is a fabulous way to get under the skin of this captivating island.
