This classic city and beach combination is the answer to why Thailand is one of our most popular Far East destinations. A few nights in Bangkok is plenty of time to take a tuk-tuk ride, find yourself in a spectacular urban palace, have a three-course dinner on the river and try every kind of street food you find. Koh Samui is a crowd pleaser with great weather almost all year round and pale golden beaches. You could easily spend day after day doing nothing more than devouring amazing Thai food and sinking your feet into dazzling white sand to the easy pace of island life.

Rip rocking rides, lands of wonder and imagination, shopping ‘till you drop and glitzy beach days are the order of the day on this two-stop holiday. Begin your adventure in Orlando, staying on site at Universal Orlando Resort and soaking up the all-encompassing joyous atmosphere of the parks before heading south to Miami on a Brightline train. After a quick 3½ hours on the train you'll be able to explore heritage neighbourhoods and see and be seen on Miami Beach.

We always recommend a twin centre holiday in Bali so that you really get to experience the very best of the island. The beautiful interior is not to be missed and a few days here amongst the rural landscapes, paddy fields and the cultural hotstpot that is Ubud is definitely a highlight. There are a few beach destinations to combine with Ubud, but here we've opted to twin with a southeast coast resort, making this a great combination for a restorative holiday chilling on the beach or a bit of an adrenaline rush with some watersports.

Bali is Indonesia's 'Island of the Gods' and it's aptly named - this is a land of stunning natural beauty and friendly people who are proud of their ancient traditions and spirituality. You'll find the beach resorts that Bali is best known for on its southern shores, but there's so much more to Bali than its coastline. Venture inland, amid the lush rice terraces and dramatic valleys and you can cycle through rice terraces, go temple-hopping and take time out at wellbeing retreats. To really make the most of your stay on the island, we recommend at least 10 days and combining two or three places to stay as you travel around the island. During that time relax on the beach in the south or in the north (the north tends slightly wilder in feel and a bit more off the beaten track). For the more active, an early morning trek to see the sunrise from the top of Mount Batur is not to be missed, but other things to do to give you a sense of the culture of Bali include cooking classes, exploring local temples, shopping for local crafts and sampling local spa treatments that feature at most hotels.

This trip is one of our favourite two-stop holidays. A place where Ottoman traditions influence the present day, it’s brimming with history and culture. There’s a never-ending list of things to see and do in Istanbul so Antalya make a welcome addition for some beach-focused relaxation. Most visitors spend at least 3 nights here with its stunning stretch of mountain-framed coastline, luxe resorts dotted with swimming pools and charming old towns that provide a blast from the past.

There’s no need to play favourites when it comes to picking your Turks & Caicos stop off spot. We’ve set up the perfect pair: Providenciales and South Caicos. Across a week, they’ll reveal what makes this cluster of 40 plus islands so special. You’ve got Provo, the epicentre of all that’s going on (but it’s still uber laidback), and South Caicos, where sleepy days are only interrupted by some of the world’s best under-the-sea sojourns.

With so much variety on offer, a visit to the Seychelles is certainly not a case of once you’ve seen one island, you’ve seen them all. For an ultraluxe, twin-island experience we highly recommend staying at the Constance sister properties: Constance Ephelia on Mahé, which overlooks a pristine marine park, and the idyllic hideaway, Constance Lemuria on Pralin’s west coast.

Mahe is home to Victoria, the country’s bustling capital and a host of smaller towns and villages, while mist-cloaked Silhouette is almost untouched. The only signs of human habitation on this protected island are the small village of La Passe and Niva Labriz Seychelles.
