Cape Panwa Hotel

Grandeur on the sand

This hotel's superb location makes it one of the most popular in Phuket.

Surrounded by tropical vegetation on a steep hillside above a long stretch of sand in Phuket, it comes as no surprise that Cape Panwa Hotel is a long-standing favourite with Kuoni guests. It’s great for those who want more from their holiday than just relaxing on the sand and listening to the gentle sound of the sea, with plenty of activities to fill up your days. There are two pools and a range of watersports, or you can retreat to the Cape Spa and allow yourself to be pampered in the peaceful surroundings. If you’re more of an explorer, cruise to nearby Coral Island and experience new landscapes in this idyllic part of Phuket.

Why we love Cape Panwa Hotel

  • It has a beautiful beachfront location, with a long strip of hint-of-pink sand in front and a coconut plantation around it

  • The spa has a superb list of pampering treatments, along with a full complement of saunas, steam rooms and whirlpool baths

  • You can have authentic Thai cuisine in a Sino-Portuguese mansion on the beach that’s often been used as a film set

  • Upgrade to a Pool Villa and you won’t just have your own patch of water to laze in, you’ll also be close to the beach
