Seychelles Organised Trips

Artistic Seychelles

Visit the private art studio and gallery of renowned artist George Camille. On this full-day experience, George Camille opens up his colourful world and reveals the story behind his artistic style and vision. We begin at George’s private art studio on the outskirts of town, where he will share his journey as an artist with you and you’ll have the chance to create your very own art, which George will personally sign. Next, we’ll visit George’s Kaz Zanana Gallery & Café, a charmingly restored Creole house in Victoria. You’ll soon understand the gallery’s name – there are lots of zanana (‘pineapple’) references throughout. The rest of the day is yours to decide. You could walk around Victoria, visit the Botanical Gardens, drive to Mission Lodge in the misty mountains of Sans Soucis or visit a rum distillery.

Creole Cooking Class

Get a deeper understanding of Creole cuisine by learning to cook like a true Seychellois. This immersive cooking class starts with a trip to the lively Sir Selwyn-Selwyn Clarke market with your chef, where you’ll experience the hustle and bustle of a typical market. It’s a wonderful assault on the senses, with vibrant colours and fragrant scents. You’ll be introduced to tropical fruits, exotic spices and boat-fresh seafood, and buy the ingredients for the dishes you’ll whip up later. Once you have everything you need, you’ll head off on a scenic drive to Cap Lazare nature reserve, where a warm welcome awaits. Your expert chef will guide you through tried-and-tested Creole cooking techniques and give you the recipes to take home. After a delicious lunch, you’ll have time to explore the nature reserve – be sure to visit the giant tortoises – before an afternoon at leisure on the beach.
