 Dubai & Seychelles

Emirates first, Indian Ocean after, cleverly making the long-haul journey work harder for you.

Pairing Dubai with the Seychelles makes real sense if you want an Indian Ocean escape with more contrast and really make the most of a flight layover. You spend three nights in Dubai first, turning the outbound route into a proper city-and-beach start, easing you into your holiday with warm evenings, world-class restaurants, architecture, culture, shopping, and sun-soaked time by a pristine pool. Then you have a full week in the Seychelles, where the feel changes completely. Green hills, Creole cooking, Beau Vallon’s broad bay, and the chance to add a cooking class, a forest walk, or an island day trip to make this a beach holiday with way more to talk about than the sunlounger situation.

Days 1-3

Dubai

Dubai is a natural stop between the UK and the Seychelles, and three nights gives you enough time to make the most of it without taking too much away from the island stay. You can keep things relaxed with a beachside base, pool time, and a couple of well-chosen outings. Or you can build in more of the city, from the old creek and souks to the marina, galleries, rooftop views, and a desert trip if you want a fuller sense of Dubai beyond the big hotels and bright lights. We’ll help you shape this part around the kind of start you want. Some people want the stop to feel restful after the flight, with good food, easy transfers, and everything close by. Others want the Dubai days to feel like a proper city break before the Seychelles. It’s up to you.

Days 4-10

Mahé, Seychelles

By the time you reach Mahé, the trip changes gear completely. It’s the largest island in the Seychelles, which makes it a practical base if you want beaches, but don’t want to feel pinned to one patch of sand. Beau Vallon gives you a broad bay, sunset views, and a little local life nearby, while Victoria has forest trails, coastal roads, and national park scenery to keep the week varied without making every day feel like an expedition. This part can be as still or as active as you like. We’ll help you choose a base that fits the week you have in mind, whether that means being right on the beach, close to great restaurants, near good walking routes, or well-placed for day trips. A cooking class adds a hands-on taste of Seychellois food, while extras such as the Anse Major Nature Trail, a day trip to La Digue, or sunset champagne on the rocks give you a few memorable ways to spend the week without turning it into a scheduled-to-the-max holiday.
