Recommended highlights

Take the Chilcotin shuttle from Vancouver (five to six hours) and head into the mountains as you travel to the ranch. On arrival, lunch will be served and you'll meet your fellow guests and your hosts. Later, you'll head to the stables where you will be matched with a horse that best suits your riding ability and practice your horsemanship skills.

The following day you'll head out on a trail ride through the ranch's grounds and the surrounding mountains and forests. Your guide will be an expert in tracking wildlife and will look out for tell tail signs that bears – both black and grizzly – have been in the area. You'll stop somewhere suitable for a picnic lunch and then continue your wilderness ride. On return to the ranch, dinner will be served and a fire will be lit ready for an unforgettable night under stars. The final morning will be spent learning how to ride bareback before you depart in the early afternoon.
