Follow the Sea to Sky Highway up to Whistler, a world-famous mountain resort where the outdoors is king and adventure is guaranteed.

Whistler is one of the most coveted mountain towns in the world and it’s a year-round affair. Ask a skier, snowboarder, hiker or biker their bucket list destinations, this spot in British Columbia’s Coast Mountains will feature repeatedly. The heart of the action is down in Whistler Village. This is where you’ll find the shops, cafés, restaurants, art galleries and hotels. It’s also the setting off point for the epic PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola which stretches for nearly three miles between Whistler and Blackcombe Mountains. From the heart of town there’s direct access to trails that will suit a) your style, b) your fitness level and c) your schedule. You can take short or long scenics climb into the hills or stay on a more even keel and follow down-in-the-valley paths like the Lost Lake Trail.

It’s not all adrenaline pumping pursuits. If you want to take it a bit easier, Whistler has some more surprising pastimes up its sleeve. There are more than enough spas in town to soothe trail-weary legs, whether you go all out on a massage at the Fairmont Chateau Whister, or for forest surrounded thermal therapy at the Scandinave Spa. Golfers are well served both with incredible fairways and epic scenic backdrops; there are a few courses within easy reach of the village, Whistler Golf Club and Nicklaus North to name just a couple. Whistler really is a natural wonderland so we suggest hanging around for at least a couple of nights, if not more, to truly let it get under your skin.
