Disney's Beach Club Resort

A slice of East Coast luxury

This stylish hotel, modelled on an oversized New England beach house, is perfect if you want to be within walking distance of two Disney parks. It has swish guestrooms and a plethora of resort activities to look forward to on your return.

Set in a prime location overlooking Crescent Lake and right next door to EPCOT, staying at Disney’s Beach Club Resort perfectly combines beach holiday vibes with your Walt Disney World adventures. Ahead of days in the parks, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast at a choice of restaurants, including one that offers breakfast with Minnie Mouse, or find a quick bite in the market-meets-café style venues. When you’re ready to relax between time in the parks, Disney’s Beach Club brings you every possibility, from a vast pool complex with its own beach and water slides to plenty of recreational facilities for families to get competitive under the Floridian sunshine.

Why we love Disney's Beach Club Resort

  • There’s Disney theming here, but it’s a little more subtle than what you’ll find elsewhere, and the overall feeling is relaxed, luxury beach chic.

  • The Disney Skyliner gondola whisks you effortlessly to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, although both are also within walking distance, and you’ve also got the option of a boat to get to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

  • Toast marshmallows around an evening campfire on the Beach Club Beach, then stay for Movies Under the Stars.

  • Stormalong Bay, the three-acre pool complex, is considered one of the best in Walt Disney World. It has a sandy beach that eases into the water and is a lovely option for little ones.

There’s an impressive selection of restaurants here, some shared with the neighbouring Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. They cover all bases between them, from poolside grills to buffet-style dining and a fancy steakhouse for a memorable evening. The market-style options are convenient for stocking up on snacks ahead of days in the parks and grabbing coffee and breakfast to-go. Within a ten-minute walk around Crescent Lake, there are more dining options at Disney’s BoardWalk, a promenade of restaurants and bars, including an Italian trattoria and seafood restaurant.

Cape May Café
Open for breakfast and dinner, this buffet restaurant hosts a character breakfast with Minnie Mouse and friends.

Beaches & Cream Soda Shop
This all-American retro ice cream parlour also serves burgers and sandwiches for lunch and dinner.

Beach Club Marketplace
You can pick up to-go options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is also a great place to stock up on snacks and coffee before hitting the parks.

Martha’s Vineyard
A New England bar just as you imagine it, with dark woods and accents of sea-foam blue. It also serves a bar menu of wings, potato skins, mussels, and cheese plates.

Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar & Grill
Pool day? This open-air grill serves food and refreshments all day long.

Ale & Compass Restaurant
This cosy restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the adjoining Disney's Yacht Club Resort.

Ale & Compass Lounge
Take a short stroll to Disney Yacht Club Resort right next door for a nautically themed bar where you can pick up a small selection of appetisers in the evening.

The Market at Ale & Compass
Over in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, pick up food and coffee in this market-style eatery – ideal for a quick breakfast or picking up snacks for the day ahead.

Yachtsman Steakhouse
A posh restaurant in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, championing steaks and seafood in formal surroundings.

Crew’s Cup Lounge
Firmly leaning into its nautical theme, this cosy bar is next to the steakhouse in Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.

The ice cream selection at Beaches & Cream is unmissable and we love the 1950s diner styling.

Disney Dining Plan
Your Disney band or card is loaded with credits to redeem against dining in over two hundred locations across Walt Disney World. For each night you stay, you’ll have credits for one quick-service meal, one table-service meal, one drink per meal and one snack. At the beginning of your trip, you’ll be given a refillable drink mug to refill for free at your Disney resort hotel. Fine and signature dining, dinner shows, and character dining are included, but two table-service meals will be redeemed from your dining plan.

The Ship Shape Health Club has functional, cardio, and strength training equipment or follow one of the jogging trails around Crescent Lake. For recreation, there are plenty of golf courses throughout Walt Disney World, and there’s a sand volleyball court near the Tidal Pool, with equipment available to collect from Ship Shape Health Club.

You can hire boats from the Disney’s Beach Club Resort marina or take a fishing excursion on Crescent Lake.

Across Walt Disney World, single-use plastic straws and stirrers have been eliminated, and Walt Disney World is working to achieve zero waste to landfill by 2030. Organic waste from Walt Disney World is sent to an off-site composting facility, where it is turned into a nutrient-rich soil product and can be used to fertilise plants.

This is a fantastic option for families. We love it for the convenience of the parks, and for the sensational water park. You can walk to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios or switch things up and hop on a boat or a gondola to make getting to the fun part of the experience. Staying here also gives you access to the entire Walt Disney World transportation system, including buses, boats, monorails, and Disney Skyliner.

If you need to refresh everyone’s clothes mid-way through your trip, it’s handy to know that there are 24-hour self-service laundry facilities near the Tidal Pool, although dry cleaning and valet laundry services are available too.

While there isn’t a children’s club, the fun is orientated around time spent as a family, whether splashing around in Stormalong Bay, relaxing around a campfire, or watching Movies Under the Stars after dusk.
