Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Walt Disney World’s flagship resort

If you want to stay as close as possible to Magic Kingdom, where you can see the fireworks burst over Cinderella Castle, look no further than this elegant Victorian-inspired resort.

Whisk away to the whimsical Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, where you’ll find Disney magic in abundance. The combination of luxury hospitality and the proximity to Magic Kingdom make this resort exceptionally tempting. Excellent dining options include meeting Disney characters over breakfast, indulging in a princess-themed afternoon tea, and stepping inside the scenes inspired by Beauty and the Beast at Enchanted Rose. And when you need some well-deserved downtime between days in the park, hire a cabana around the fabulous swimming pools or slip away to the spa. It’s a great resort to spend evenings in, with beach campfires, Movies Under the Stars, and a front-row seat to the nightly Electrical Water Pageant across the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Why we love Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

  • You can walk to Magic Kingdom (or glide across on a water taxi or by monorail). Getting to the other parks on the complimentary Disney buses is easy.

  • The parks open 30 minutes early and stay open late, exclusively for guests of Disney Deluxe Resorts, like this one.

  • The location of Disney’s Grand Floridian is perfect for watching fireworks over Cinderella Castle, either from your guestroom if you opt for a park view room, or on the terrace by Gasparilla Island Grill

  • The excellent pool has a waterslide, water play area for little ones, and pool service. You can also hire poolside cabanas.
