Tailor your tour

Make it your own

We’ve crafted this itinerary based on our own experiences and our customers’ feedback. It’s fully flexible, so talk to us and we can create your perfect trip.

Where to stay

We’ve included great quality Serena properties – Mara Serena Safari Lodge sits high on a central hill with great views of the reserve (particularly for migration watching from July to October). Enjoy guided morning bush walks and sleep in stylish raised tents with thatched roofs at Samburu Intrepids.

Unique experiences

Talk to us about adding on unforgettable experiences. You could visit an elephant orphanage, take a trip to a Giraffe Centre that’s home to endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, or fly over the Maasai Mara at dawn on a hot-air balloon safari.

How long

We’ve included 2 nights in most places and 3 nights in the Maasai Mara to maximise your wildlife viewing time. This is a longer, slower-paced and road-based safari for those who want to soak up all that Kenya has to offer, but you can choose to fly or cut out stops if you’re short on time.

Another stop

Combine Complete Kenya with our Amboseli, Tsavo & Beach itinerary (p74) for an epic 21-night trip that takes in 7 national parks and reserves and ends with a relaxing beach stay in Mombasa.
