Sri Lanka holidays - travel update
Kuoni, along with the whole travel industry, is guided on travel safety and security by the FCO (Foreign & Commonwealth Office). After the attacks on Easter Sunday, the FCO changed its travel advice on 25 April advising against all but essential travel to Sri Lanka.
Kuoni has been operating premium holidays in the UK for more than 50 years and has a highly experienced team of people who are dealing with often complex travel arrangements to ensure customers are supported with their travel plans at all times.
For anyone due to travel to Sri Lanka up to 30 June the Kuoni team will be pro-actively contacting customers to talk about their options.
Anyone due to travel to the Maldives via Colombo, but are just transiting through the airport without a stay in Sri Lanka, are not impacted by the FCO travel advice and can go ahead with their holiday as planned.
For anyone travelling after 30 June and wishes to discuss their travel plans, we recommend contacting their Kuoni personal travel expert or travel agent to talk about the latest travel information and choices which may be available.
Kuoni is monitoring the situation closely alongside its team in Sri Lanka, ABTA and the FCO and will be keeping the website information updated.
