The glamorous resort of St Moritz is frequented by the rich and famous and boasts an international reputation for its chic and exclusive ambience.
St Moritz has a ‘champagne’ climate, basking in sunshine an average of over 300 days a year. At an altitude of 1800m, overlooking the stunning lake, the resort offers an immaculately kept ski area with 350km of groomed pistes and is host to the famous Polo World Cup tournament on the frozen lake as well as the famous Cresta Run.
The resort caters well for skiers and non-skiers alike, and is separated into two main areas, the fashionable ‘Dorf’, with its designer shops, and the quieter area ‘Bad’. St Moritz is ideal for intermediate skiers, with red runs mainly covering the area. Beginners will find areas in Salastrains and Corviglia, while the varied, often untouched off-piste makes up for the limited challenges for advanced skiers on piste. Known for its elegance and perfection, St Moritz offers top restaurants, stylish bars and exclusive shops.
