Tailor your tour

Make it your own
We’ve crafted this itinerary based on our own experiences and our customers’ feedback. It’s fully flexible so talk to us and we can create your perfect trip.

Where to stay
We’ve recommended Loldia House, Mugie House and Governors’ Camp because they’re intimate and in the best wildlife-viewing spots, and so you can experience a colonial house, a tented camp and something a little different. For a splash more luxury in the Maasai Mara, upgrade to Little Governors’ or Il Moran.

Unique experiences
Talk to us about arranging extra special experiences. On this itinerary you could take a hot-air balloon ride over the Maasai Mara plains, enjoy a romantic dinner out in the wild, do a walking safari, or go behind-the-scenes with an anti-poaching unit.

How long
We think that 2 nights in Naivasha, 3 nights in Laikipia and 3 nights in the Maasai Mara is the shortest time you’ll want to spend on this safari. If you can stay longer, we’ve got plenty of suggestions for how you can extend your trip. Or if you can’t stay as long, take a look at our Governors’ Safari.

Another stop
We recommend finishing your African adventure with a beach stay on the white sands of Zanzibar (it’s just a short flight from Nairobi) or fly direct from the Mara to Mombasa for a superb value post-safari beach stay.
