Indochine Premium Overnight Halong Bay Cruise

A single night in Halong Bay, with time to get out on the water, explore inside the limestone caves, and see the bay from above as well as at sea level.

This one-night itinerary is structured to make the most of a short stay. From the moment the boat leaves Tuan Chau Port, you’re moving through the limestone formations that define Halong Bay, with stops built in so you’re not just watching from the deck. You’ll kayak or take a small sampan into a sheltered lagoon, walk through one of the bay’s largest cave systems, and spend the evening anchored among the islands.

Accommodation is in a Junior Suite, which means a proper sense of space for an overnight stay, a private balcony, and large windows that keep the view with you even when you step back inside. On board, there’s a restaurant, bar, and sundeck, so you’re not limited to one central area as the cruise unfolds.

Day 1

Hanoi to Halong Bay

The day begins with a morning drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay, arriving at Tuan Chau Port around midday. After boarding, there’s a welcome drink and a short briefing before heading to your cabin.Lunch is served as the boat begins cruising into the bay, passing limestone formations such as Incense Burner and Kissing Rocks along the way.In the afternoon, visit either Surprise Cave or Me Cung Cave, reached via a short climb, with around 45 minutes to explore inside before returning to the boat.By early evening, the cruise anchors in a quieter area of the bay. A short fruit-and-vegetable carving demonstration offers a glimpse into how Vietnamese dishes are prepared and presented, followed by dinner on board. Afterwards, there’s time to relax on deck or try squid fishing with the crew.

Day 2

Halong Bay to Hanoi

Early morning is one of the calmest times in the bay. There’s the option to join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck or simply take in the view as the light changes across the water. After a light breakfast, head to Titov Island. There’s time here to swim or take the short but steep climb to the viewpoint, which gives a wide, open view across Halong Bay’s islands.Return to the boat to freshen up and pack before brunch is served as the cruise makes its way back towards port. Disembark at Tuan Chau around midday and return to Hanoi in the early afternoon.
