Bhaya Soul Two-Night Cruise

Two nights on a smaller, wellness-focused cruise, following a less-travelled route through Halong and Lan Ha Bay, where time on the water is as much the point as the places you stop.

This itinerary is designed around space and pace. With just 20 cabins on board Bhaya Soul, it never feels crowded, and the route moves through quieter areas of the bay, away from the busiest clusters of boats. You’ll still kayak, swim, and step ashore, but these moments are spaced out, giving you time in between to sit on deck, watch the scenery shift, and properly take in where you are.

What sets this apart is the included wellness element. There are gentle morning sessions like Tai Chi or meditation, and a short spa treatment built into the experience, often something like a foot ritual or massage that fits naturally into the rhythm of the day. There’s also a small pool, a spa area, and plenty of space on deck, so it’s easy to find a quiet spot. Cabins all come with private balconies, so even time spent in your room stays connected to the view.

2 nights
Hanoi to Halong Bay and back.

Day 1

Hanoi to Halong Bay

The day begins with a morning drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay. On arrival at Tuan Chau Port, board your cruise, settle into your cabin, and take in the first views as lunch is served while the boat moves out into the bay.The afternoon is deliberately open. You might head out by kayak into a sheltered lagoon or visit a nearby cave, or you may find yourself staying on board, watching the limestone formations come into view one after another from the deck.By early evening, the boat anchors in a quieter area. There’s time to make use of the pool or spa before dinner, followed by a relaxed evening on board. Some guests try squid fishing, others settle in with a drink and leave it at that.

Day 2

Halong Bay

The route continues through less busy sections of Halong and into Lan Ha Bay, where the distance between boats becomes more noticeable, and the setting feels more open. There are opportunities to kayak, swim, and visit floating fishing communities, but the day isn’t built around constant movement. Instead, it alternates between time off the boat and longer stretches on board, where the experience becomes about watching the landscape unfold as you move through it.At some point during the day, your included wellness session is scheduled, a small but well-judged addition after time spent out on the water.Dinner is served back on board, with a second night anchored in another quiet part of the bay.

Day 3

Halong Bay to Hanoi

The final morning is best spent on deck as the light shifts across the bay. You might join a short Tai Chi or meditation session or simply take it in with a coffee. After breakfast, the boat makes its way back towards port, arriving at Tuan Chau around midday, before the drive back to Hanoi in the early afternoon.
