Rooms are simple, spacious and full of thoughtful local touches. While they’re all ocean-oriented, not all have full sea views, although every category has a furnished balcony or terrace, 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels, locally made toiletries in refillable containers, a Roberts Radio, Yogi Bare yoga mat and blocks, homemade snacks, complimentary filtered water, and a handwoven beach basket made in Mauritius using recycled plastic. The main choice is how close you want to be to the ocean or pool: Garden View rooms look through filao trees towards the beach and lagoon; Seaview Rooms are just that, sea facing and are close to the pool; Bang on Beach rooms face east over the sand and Indian Ocean; Pool Plus gives you more space with a pool view and are sea facing; and Best on Beach is the top pick for sunrise lovers.

Facilities
Eating here feels personal, local, and decidedly un-buffet-like. The Good Kitchen is the main event, with à la carte meals cooked from scratch and menus built around Mauritian growers, farmers, and fishermen. The SALT bakery brings fresh bread, pastries, tropical jams, homemade nut butter, and barista coffee into your morning. While Tek Tek takes things more intimate with a tiny-seat dining experience rooted in the island’s ocean-to-plate tradition. Add a stunning rooftop aperitivo, craft beers by the pool, and teatime with pastries, and the food becomes one of the best reasons to stay.
