Wellness here has more going for it than a token massage menu. IASO Medi Spa sits over the lagoon, with six treatment rooms, steam room facilities, professional consultations, and health and beauty treatments designed for a proper reset. You can keep things active with Veeru Gym, yoga, water aerobics, tennis, badminton, volleyball, football, padel, pickleball, table tennis, pool, and foosball. Or you can simply book the treatment, lie down, and call it personal growth.
The lagoon is not just there to look pretty, although it does an excellent job. You can canoe, paddleboard, join a guided house reef snorkelling excursion, and try a wide choice of chargeable watersports, including windsurfing, catamaran sailing, flyboarding, water skiing, kitesurfing, parasailing, and jet skiing. Divers are well looked after too, with access to reefs and coral gardens where colourful reef fish, turtles, rays, and bigger blue-water moments are all part of the appeal. New to it? Start with the introductory lagoon dive, then see where the bubbles take you.
Sustainability has substance here. Heritance Aarah was the first LEED Gold-certified resort in the Maldives, recognised for sustainable design and environmental performance. The resort has also achieved Green Globe Certification, giving its responsible-travel story proper credentials rather than vague eco-speak.
Families are very much part of the Heritance Aarah picture. You have spacious Two Bedroom Family Beach Villas and Two Bedroom Family Pool Beach Villas, with the pool option set near Koka Kids Club for easy drop-offs, pick-ups, and those inevitable we-forgot-the-goggles moments.
