The Samaya Seminyak

Sunsets and swimming pools

This sumptuous resort with impeccable service is one of Seminyak’s best and is perfect for couples.

An award-winning luxury resort, The Samaya Seminyak is made up of two complexes of villas – Beachside and Royal Courtyard, the latter located across the street – all with their own private pool and outdoor lounge. This blissed out hideaway of timber decks, trees and a tantalising main pool is a barefoot beach escape of seafood platters, luxe lounging and sizzling sunsets.

Why we love The Samaya Seminyak

  • Complimentary activities are a great mix of coconut leaf art, kite painting and yoga.

  • You can book a dinner for two in a private pavilion set up on the beach.

  • Royal Courtyard Villas offer solitude for honeymooners, set across from the beach with beautiful private pools.

  • Under white billowing sails overlooking Petitenget Beach, Breeze is the swishiest place to dine at sunset.

Breeze is the resort’s chic main restaurant, with a diverse international menu in a wonderful beachfront setting. There’s plenty of outdoor seating on the spacious deck, so you can enjoy an al fresco breakfast, or a romantic dinner beautifully lit by the hanging lanterns. There’s also an excellent wine list. Across the road in the Royal Courtyard area you’ll find the atmospheric Brasserie, which serves up traditional Indonesian dishes. Of course, for complete privacy there’s also the option of in-villa dining. Be sure to enjoy the complimentary traditional daily afternoon tea.
