Sudamala is a peaceful retreat of elegant suites, incredible artwork and an delightful pool.
This tranquil hotel honours Bali’s heritage with art-filled interiors, Balinese statues and a high level of warm hospitality. Low-rise and laid back Sudamala is owned by an art collector and embraces local culture at every turn. The pool is a huge draw, as is the five-minute stroll past cafés and boutiques to the beach.

There are just 34 elegant suites which are traditional with contemporary touches, in colours of earthy browns, reds and creams and featuring pieces of hand-crafted furniture. The suites are on the ground or first floor, set around two spacious inner courtyards – one with a lush lawn and a performance area, the other housing a large swimming pool.

The relaxed ARES Restaurant serves up Indonesian and western favourites with a Sudamala twist, and there’s a lounge area for cocktails.

The hotel's restaurant is located on the street corner and is a favourite with guests and locals. Serving a range of popular dishes including steaks with the signature Sudamala sauce - a sweet soy beurre blanc.

Sudajiva Spa uses contemporary and ancient treatments that will leave you refreshed and rejuvenated. Each spa suite has a private garden courtyard and outdoor rain shower. There is a yoga instructor that arranges daily classes and evening meditation sessions.
Explore Sanur with a local guide visiting the market and nearby temples. Make time to visit the hotel's ArtSpace with regular exhibitions by local and international artists.
Sudamala has its own private stretch of beach which is a short cycle ride from the hotel. Snorkelling and diving can be arranged at a variety of spots around the island.
