Wow we loved it
Had a 3 bed villa over two floors with sea view. Private bit of garden plus terrace with sunbeds. Upstairs main bedroom had ensuite with jacuzzi bath and balcony with lounger and table & chairs. Other top bedroom had small balcony as well. Downstairs large kitchen diner, 3rd bedroom (decent size) and separate shower/toilet. We were all inclusive (great value- so didn't need the cooker dishwasher or washing machine). Very pretty overall design of resort with reception on top and each level down being a bit nearer the sea and curved round the hill. N.B. Pool view rooms face inland (it's a different pool). Restaurants on level 0 leading to main pool and then a couple of garden levels down to the beach. We only used buffet which had huge choice and we found excellent. Didn't use the a la carte (extra for all inclusive guests) or the spa/detox stuff. Did find A/C a bit powerful - seemed much colder than the indicated temp and had to turn it off in middle of night a couple of times. One odd point - all the rooms whatever floor seem to begin with 7 even though there is no 7th floor. Beach view was lovely out to the bay with other islands in the near and far distance. There for a wedding held on the end of the jetty so wonderful setting especially if it's sunset which was behind the lucky couple. BTW the wedding food was also excellent and the intermediate level used for meal/dancing etc was ideal for say 70 upto maybe 150 people or more. Almost all the drinks were included - a few high end branded spirits were extra. We weren't that impressed with the cocktails and switched to G&T or V&T etc. Also the wine wasn't much to our taste but may be to yours. Only slight niggle was that although reception staff spoke English they struggled a bit sometimes to understand the question. Restaurant staff were very helpful and spoke good (better than reception?) English and would help to rearrange tables for bigger groups. All the different groups of relatives who had travelled there for the wedding loved it and some that weren't staying there even changed their hotel and moved in for the rest of their stay.
A real well-being resort - hell of an experience
Very good resort, about 6-7 pools, 3 private beaches, big rooms, big villa, reasonable price. Very clean and comfortable, friendly staff, Quivk Check in process. I planned for 1 night and stayed 4 nights. All rooms have very good view. Very highly recommended place.
This is so hard to write, I have done various Healthy inspired holidays, the de-tox was rubbish, I saw one nurse and never a doctor, he was always 'away'. The raw food diet did not agree with me, I was always bloated. The so called Nature Walks were rubbish.. one way in one direction, back the same route, next day the other way and ditto! The two girls that led them were also on the side of being hostile, they couldn't speak any English; several of us complained to the nurse and one girl was severely reprimanded, she did the aqua gym, this was for everyone, so she made an effort and showed that she could count to 8 in English! The other one was called Sabina and gave a fairly good Pilates class, again , no English, however she did smile. The other negatives.. I had paid for a transfer from the airport.. I searched for 30 minutes for my driver, then joined the taxi rank, it took a further 30 minutes for a taxi that would agree to take me so far. This was v stressful, on the way there were 2 police checks, I arrived at 11pm.. then the hotel wanted me to change money to pay for the taxi, I refused. When I left the hotel they wanted to charge me, all in all very stressful, plus a hard sell all the time. To add to all this, having gone to Bodrum one day, my door was open and my gold havainas had gone. No one at reception speaks more than basic English Now onto a positive note, the food was O.K., the restaurant and bar staff were good, my suite was great..however I had paid extra and other people complained. There r 3 beach areas and 3 pontoons, there is a bus stop at the end of the road, buses go on 3 routes. There r schooner trips every day from the jetty. I was there 4 15 days and was out every day except one. I intend to take a 3 bedroom apartment next year for the October half term. The clientele r mostly Turkish, Rusian and German.
Super yet again
Once again the Sianji has lived up to our expectations following our stay at the beginning of September. We had a King suite above the Spa which was quiet and well appointed. Food in the restaurant was good as usual with a wide variety on offer to cover everyone taste. This was our third time staying here and will we be back , rest assured we will next May 2020 in fact. We find it home from home. Cannot wiat see see you all for another great stay.
2nd year here same time of year. Detox is good but lacks nutritional advice on daily basis. Once your here your left upto you own devices. Community of people is good though you Make friends very quickly. Management do not speak good English so a challenge if you need something done. Accommodation lovely but disappointed on certain aspects to help detox like no English channels on tv to make relaxing in bedroom after 8pm helpful. PT staff hard core and non speaking English not what you need when you feel so weak and need gentle exercise. Yoga teacher is good though. Expect to come here to detox and lose weight but don’t expect daily help and counselling to get you through this like other places
