What to expect

Day 1 UK to Ushuaia, Argentina Depart the UK on your overnight flight to Ushuaia via Buenos Aires.

Days 2-3 Ushuaia, Argentina Transfer to the Los Cauquenes Resort & Spa where you will stay two nights. You will have a full day in the world’s southernmost city to explore the incredible Patagonian landscapes either independently or on our half-day excursion into Tierra del Fuego National Park.

The highlight of this cruise is the time spent sailing the waters surrounding the Antarctic Peninsula and the various nearby islands. The captain and expedition crew will react to the sea, ice and wea ther conditions and best wildlife viewing opportunities when navigating your route around the peninsula. If conditions allow, there will be daily expeditions by Zodiac, cruising amongst the towering icebergs and disembarking on wildlife-rich islands. Possible destinations include the Aitcho Islands of the South Shetland Islands, the Wilhelm archipelago, Deception Island and Paradise Bay and the Tabarin Peninsula, the latter two being on the Antarctic landmass and your best opportunity to actually step foot on the Great White Continent.

Days 20-21 Cruising the Drake Passage

Day 22 Ushuaia to Buenos Aires, Argentina
Following disembarkation, transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires where you will stay one night at the Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt. You’ll have some free time to wander around the eclectic and lively barrios – or neighbourhoods – of Argentina’s capital.

Day 23 Buenos Aires, Argentina Transfer to the airport for your overnight return flight to the UK.
