Passport & Visa Requirements
Please remember that every traveller (including all children from birth) will need a valid passport to travel. If your passport is endorsed in any way, requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy.
For British passport holders;
• Ensure a valid ten year passport is held for adults and a valid 5 year passport is held for children under 16.
• Many countries (including Europe) require passport expiry dates to fall a considerable time beyond the dates of travel, we would recommend that all passports are valid for a minimum of SIX MONTHS after your scheduled return to the UK.
• It can take at least six weeks to get a first adult passport, although renewal of an existing passport can be quicker. For more information visit https://www.gov.uk/browse/abroad/passports
• Visa information can change at short notice, please check www.gov.uk for the latest entry advice. For assistance with any visa enquiry we recommend CIBT Visas.

For non-british passport holders please speak to your Personal Travel Expert who would be happy to assist.
Kuoni recommend CIBT Visas
This service is only available to clients who have booked with Kuoni. In most cases, where we advise visas are required, the CIBT can obtain these for you. Full details on how to obtain a visa, cost and application time will be sent with your confirmation invoice, these are all subject to change. Residents outside the UK, non British passport holders and late booking passengers should check urgently with CIBT or the embassy direct as it may not be possible to obtain the visa in time prior to arrival.
For your visa enquiries on the indicated destinations please contact CIBT Visas:

USA requirements
The US Government has reinforced their entry regulations making some important changes which are now in effect:
- All passports must be machine readable ie: red passports. If you still have an old blue passport you will need to obtain a visa before travelling, or apply for a new passport. Passports issued on or after October 26 2006, must also include an integrated circuit chip capable of storing the biographic information from the data page, a digitized photograph and other biometric information. NB: Some passports issued by British Consular posts abroad may not be machine readable - please check with the UK Passport Service on 0870 521 0410 or www.passport.gov.uk for further information. Also applicable to passengers in transit in the US.
- The US Govt now requires all passengers entering the US to provide details of their country of residence, as well as full postal address of the first US hotel. This information is currently being collected by the airline upon check-in. The airline will also collect details of your passport number and country of issue, citizenship, full names as they appear on your passport, gender and date of birth, all of which is obtained by swiping your passport at the check-in desk.
US Customs will not allow entry to anyone with incorrect papers.
All British passport holders will be required to complete a USA waiver form on the aircraft. For all non British passport holders including British subjects should check with the relevant Embassy at the earliest opportunity for the latest information. There are certain exceptions where British passport holders do require a visa for entering the USA, which must be obtained prior to travel. For full advice on this please visit the US embassy website on www.usembassy.org.uk or phone 09055 444546.
Turkey requirements
From 2 March 2020, British nationals travelling for tourism or business purposes will no longer need a visa to enter Turkey for visits of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.
If you’re travelling before 2 March you will still need a visa, except for some cruise ship passengers arriving at sea ports for visits of up to 72 hours. It is recommended that you get an e-Visa online through the official Republic of Turkey e-Visa website. An e-Visa costs $35 (plus $1.05 service fee) and you can pay by credit or debit card. If you use this option, you should apply at least 48 hours before travel and can do so up to 3 months in advance. In case of technical problems at the Turkish port of entry, carry a printed copy of your e-Visa or keep an electronic copy on a smartphone or other device to show at immigration.
Visas
