Wyndham Grand Barbados, Sam Lord's Castle Resort & Spa

A modern addition to historic Barbados

This brand new resort on the south-east coast is set to welcome guests a luxury 5-star all inclusive experience with a fabulous range of facilities.

When you step into the striking, high-ceilinged lobby that’s flooded with light and frames exquisite sea views, you’ll get a sense of the scale of this hotel. With 422 guestrooms and a wide choice of buzzy bars and international restaurants, this is a large resort, befitting of the ‘grand’ in its name. Opened in late 2023, this swish new retreat has an emphasis on making things simple, just as a beach holiday should be, with everything you could possibly want at your fingertips, from massages (full spa opening date TBC), the pale Barbadian sands, activities galore, and a choice of swimming pools surrounded by palm trees and shady cabanas.

Why we love Wyndham Grand Barbados, Sam Lord's Castle Resort & Spa

  • It’s a family holiday haven with a kid’s club, babysitting services, family activities, and a dedicated children’s pool.

  • It was built with sustainable principles in mind, with high-efficiency fixtures, renewable power, and a chef’s garden to grow ingredients.

  • Enjoy mouthwatering dishes from a range of restaurants; there's an extensive buffet restaurant, a grill and a venue with a view of the castle.

  • It’s right on the beach, but there are plenty of beautiful lagoon-style swimming pools too.
