Superb food and service
The food here at Sala Choengmon 's always superb. We had a very tasty massaman lamb cuury (The best massaman lamb curry i ever had). The service high standard ,very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.
I recently stayed at the Sala Chongmoen in Samui. As always, my very high expectations were far exceeded. It is a beautiful hotel on a beautiful beach in an area (Choengmoen) that is only 15 minutes from the airport. The villas are very well constructed and beautifully appointed with their own private pools. Unlike other villa-type properties in Samui that don't really offer any privacy, the Sala villas are 100% private. It is like you are in your own little world The service at Sala is fantastic. Hassle-free check-in, ice bucket delivered in 5 minutes, efficient yet luxurious breakfast, and evening bed turn-down service, to name a few. The food is also superb: From USDA grade steak for dinner to fantastic (!) Thai food at lunch. When I was there, they had a Southern Thai food promotion and I had some of the best Satoh (Thai stink bean) that I have ever had (I am a bit of a Thai cuisine foodie). In terms of the room size and quality, service, location, beach access, and food, the Sala Chonmoen in Samui can't be beaten!
The hotel is located at Choengmon beach which is peachful beach. It's attached to the white sand beach and surrounding with mountain. Sala pool villa room is large with 3x5 private pool in the room. Bed room is clean and comfortable. Bathroom equiped with bathtub and shower outdoor!!! Breakfast served as a la carte buffet. The food is variety and delicious. Dinner is also very good. Kayak and SUP board provided by the hotel with free of charge. There are 2 pools near the beach. Staff is kind and polite. Recommend for couple. Parking lot is quite low.
Beautiful, Instagramable, Comfortable
First of all, I would like to say a BIG thank you and appreciation to Khun Katesarin & Khun Thanawan & all reservation team involved who went above and beyond in helping me making this stay possible! I was having trouble with the Rao Tiew Duay Kan package and needed a refund. They were SUPER DUPER helpful in contacting the bank and providing all necessary documents for making the refund in a timely manner. All in all, I got the refund and rebook and everything was worth it! We stayed at Sala Pool Villa interconnecting for 4 nights. I & my boyfriend in 1 villa and my sister in another. Here are the pros & cons Pros > The villa is very spacious, clean, and elegant. > The bathroom is open air which makes it super sexy & romantic for me & my boyfriend ;) > The in-villa's pool is not too small for an actual swim and with 1.5m in depth you can really float and feel the water. > All the pools here, in-villa and hotel's, are very blue! So it's picture perfect & super instagramable. > The location is pretty flat, no hills and such, so it's easy to walk here and there. > The restaurant & in-room dining are surprisingly not expensive, considering it is Samui. The average is around 300-400THB (exclusive of VAT & service charge) and in a generous portion. Cons > The room is a little bit too dark. My boyfriend had to work during our stay and the reading light is not bright enough for him to use a laptop. So if any fellow travelers would like to work while on vacation, you might want to ask for an additional lamp. > The parking area is a little small. If you're driving here like we did you'll have to leave your key with the bellman so they can rearrange the car if needed. > All bath amenities are lemongrass scented, except the soap bar. One last thing, I want to thank you the spa staff we encountered whom I unfortunately didn't catch the name. I and my sister were taking some photos after our treatment and when she walked by she suggested us to take some photos with the black pool. I mean, it's a small thing but we really appreciated her understanding of girls who want some photos for instagram!
love at first stay
I have an Australian friend who is big fan of Sala , i really have no doubt since I check in. Overall room and facility are incredibly gorgeous. Breakfast is average but I love cold press juice here . Staff are not remarkable as I mostly see them mingle and eyes on phone than offering guest to take a photo or ask if I need anything. Except Reception Khun Wee. He should be employee of the year. I 'm so impressed with his friendly and kind offer to take photo as I'm solo travelling. and that are most precious memory for this trip . He pay attention to me what I need and every photo I got are SUPERBBBBBBB Also Bellboys are nice. I personally don't impressed with restaurant and pool staff . especially restaurant, guest are not that packed in my opinion the Pilipino staff are nicer than Thai for breakfast. Thank you and I wish to come back here to stay at Sala Pool Villa.
