Redesigned, upgraded and rebranded, Centara Reserve Samui is a polished and welcoming beachside bolthole.

Rooms
The 184 rooms, suites and beachfront pool villas are decorated in a deceptively simple style that blends clean-cut modernity and a neutral palette with subtle nods to Thai design. The light-filled Deluxe Garden and Deluxe Ocean rooms are all but twins, aside from the view from the balcony, and you can connect two or three of them for a family or group of friends. The slightly bigger Deluxe Pool Access rooms are made for keen swimmers as they’re steps from the swimming pool. Ocean views, plus extra space, are to the fore in the Luxury Ocean and Reserve Ocean rooms, while the Reserve Pool Suite has an inviting outdoor area complete with a private pool. We think it’s well worth the upgrade to a Reserve Pool Suite for the feeling of privacy and the Reserve Host service.

The Terrace
There’s a menu of dishes from around the world at the relaxed main restaurant, which is open from 6am to 10.30pm. Grab an outdoor table for the perfect start to the day.
Salt Society
This beachfront bar is a breezy venue for lunch, dinner or evening drinks with soulful live music. The food is as stylishly casual as the ambience: think tuna quesadilla, grilled watermelon salad and wagyu truffle burger. Every Sunday, the restaurant hosts the Vitamin SEA Bruch.
Act 5
This dinner-only restaurant (open from Wednesday to Sunday) turns gastronomy into a performance. Savour signature dishes with names such as Crunch and Edible Garden for a sublime experience.
Sa-Nga
Spend a happy evening grazing your way through a menu of exquisite Thai tapas, where the country’s traditional flavours are given a modern twist.
The Gin Run
Open from midday until late, this refined bar has a sophisticated cocktail and ‘gin experience’ list and a short menu of sweet and savoury nibbles to match. Every evening there's a 'one on you, one on us' Reserve hour from 4pm to 6pm.
Pool Bar
Take your pick from everything from snapper ceviche to Korean chicken baguette just a short stroll from your sun lounger.
With its food-as-theatre ethos and the sublime fusion flavours its chefs conjure up, Act 5 is definitely not to be missed.

Reserve Spa Cenvaree has seven beautifully scented treatment rooms, including two for couples, where you can enjoy bespoke therapies using herbs from the organic herb garden. Enhance the effect with a session in the steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi before your massage, body wrap or skin-soothing facial.
Beginner yoga and Thai boxing classes take place at the Yoga Pavilion.
The spacious, award-winning fitness centre is open around the clock. Work out on a comprehensive range of cardio and resistance machines, with verdant views through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Head into island's interior to discover temples and waterfalls or go shopping and nightlife at Chaweng.
The resort has two pools, a free-form one with whirlpools right next to the beach and an infinity pool, plus a wet play area in the children’s zone. Explore offshore islands and remote islands or head to Angthong National Park for diving.
In keeping with Centara’s EarthCare programme, the resort has eliminated single-use plastics, has its own bottling plant for drinking water and turns food waste into biogas for the kitchens. Products at the spa are organic and cruelty-free, and there’s an organic herb and vegetable garden to help reduce food miles.
The Kids' Zone is technology free, so children will be kept busy with activities such as batik painting, kite making, kids' Thai boxing, junior chef and mixology lessons.
