An amazing winter break at the Atlantis
We arrived as a couple at about 10AM on a Sunday so we were early for our room however after breakfast at Platos and a wander round we soon filled in the time before getting into our 17th floor room which was just perfect with the most comfortable bed i have ever slept on and views over the palm to die for. We had half board which was good and the food was generally of a very good standard and portions are generous. We upgraded to the platinum half board so we could have a few vinos with our meal and it worked out okay. The guys cleaning the room leave plenty of bottled water which is ideal with the heat. The water park isnt just for kids, we had a fabulous time doing the rapids thats for sure. My only small criticism is theres can be queues at the buffet restaraunts (Saffron & Kaleidoscope) which can be a bit annoying but apart from that the place runs like clockwork with excellent staff generally throughout. Our favourite restaraunt by far was the Lebanese restaraunt Ayamna. Mr Talih Kiwan is the perfect host who is very engaging and the food is of supreme standard, the best meal we had had to be the mixed grill with excellent portion sizes. As with all great hotels the best compliment i can give the Atlantis is we will be back.
The best solution to stay in Dubai!
Never I see before an hotel like Atlantis the Palm! Everything was perfect, the room was like a little home, the service, the breakfast, the service in hotel, specially the swimming pool and obviously the acquarium!!!
Couldn’t Get A SINGLE room.
We as a family love Dubai and always prefer it for our annual family holiday either as a layover or just a one stop holiday destination. One of the many reasons has to be because of our stay at the Atlantis. The beautiful view from our room of the city skyline was breathtaking, hospitality top notch and the staff went out of their ways to make us feel welcome. Really wanted to spend my birthday this time at this hotel to feel the magic yet again but just couldn’t get a single room ( only club rooms available ). Still I would definitely recommend Atlantis Hotel, it’s one of a kind and I promise you would want to keep coming back just like I did, but unfortunately couldn’t.
Exceptionally Busy Hotel
Myself, my husband and our two sons aged 16 and 17 stayed at this hotel in July. I'm only getting around to doing review now as I've been away. We have stayed in a few hotels in Dubai and found the service to be impeccable and you are made to feel you are the only guests staying at that hotel. We thought we would get the same level of service or exclusivity at this hotel but we were sadly disappointed. This hotel has got to be the busiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The beautiful aquarium and the waterpark attract people from other hotels adding to the volume of people. If you could imagine your busiest shopping street on Christmas eve, that's what it was like trying to navigate your way to the lifts to get to your room. If it's exclusivity you're looking for this is not the hotel for you unless you're staying in the most expensive room in the hotel!! We also upgraded to Imperial Club where you can get food and drink in a more relaxed environment, but what you're not told is, is that everyone else has upgraded too, so you've to queue to get in and queue to be seated, which is a joke. It is however a beautiful hotel and I'm so glad I got to stay there but the crowds and lack of exclusivity, especially for the price we paid, is a big let down for the hotel in my opinion unfortunately we will not be returning.
Great hotel and perfect for some late sunshine
This was our 2nd stay at Atlantis after coming here around the same time in 2018. The reason for choosing this hotel is that it's great for kids with the huge aquarium and Aquaventure water park free to guests. First thing to mention is the staff. They're brilliant at the hotel. Very friendly and cant do enough for you. They make a real fuss of our kids all the time. We stayed on a half board booking so had breakfast and evening meals included. For this stay we also opted for an upgrade to the Imperial Club. This has several benefits including a separate lounge where you can have breakfast, afternoon tea and drinks between 5pm & 7pm. Breakfast at some of the buffet restaurants can get very busy so the separate lounge is a nice option. The afternoon tea also fills the gap left by lunch and anyone who had been to Dubai will know how expensive drinks are. The Imperial club also includes airport transfers to and from the hotel. The car we had already included car seats for our boys which was great. We chose to have a room with a Palm view rather than a sea view. It's a bit more expensive but the view is impressive. In terms of meals with the half board you get evening meals included. There are plenty of restaurants but some of these do require a supplement. Some are more expensive than others and you then have the drinks on top so it can add up. The quality of food at the buffet restaurants is very good and the other restaurants is excellent. For things to do at the hotel you have the aforementioned aquarium and water park which are great for kids. There is also a kids club for children from ages 3 upwards plus they also provide babysitting services. There is a great spa and another benefit of the Imperial Club was a 2-1 offer on certain treatments. There are 2 pools and we always use the Zero Entry one as it's more suitable for young children. There are always lots of beds with towels provided plus plenty of staff offering food and drink. There aren't really any gripes for the hotel. If there was one thing for the Imperial Club it would be a better offering breakfast and snacks for children. It's not a cheap stay but that is something you expect in Dubai.
