Balancing San Francisco heritage with avant-garde antics, Hotel Zephyr is a high voltage ride. Walls are treated to displays of portholes, mermaids and bike trail maps and hip hangouts are given a shipyard-chic feel. Want late night pancakes by a crackling fire pit? You can tick that box. Want to capture photo booth memories? They’ve thought of that too. Nothing here is typical and even the lobby branches out into hidden dens, shipping container style spaces and a games room where you can battle it out over ping-pong or pool.
