Step into a sumptuous palace where lake-facing flowerboxes overflow with blooms and there’s gold gilding at every turn.
You’re greeted with colourful gardens and expertly trimmed topiary as you pull up to Regina Palace. But it’s the lobby that’ll make you catch your breath – styled on an era that believed more is more. There are exquisite Murano glass chandeliers, a grand staircase, and not a plain wall in sight. Facilities
There are three restaurants to ponder. Two of them – Liberty and Charleston – are magnificently decorated and formal, giving special occasion vibes to everyday dining. Outside, Le Grill is a more relaxed affair, serving snacks and light lunch to those refuelling from lakeside pursuits, or seeking shade after a morning chilling by the pool.

An opulent cream and gold restaurant, open for breakfast and dinner with a terrace overlooking the lake.
Charleston
A formal restaurant with white tablecloths and candelabras serving candlelit lakefront dinners.
Le Grill
Snacks and light lunches served al fresco by the swimming pool and amid garden flowers.
Bar 1900
Sip expertly created cocktails beneath the twinkling lights of chandeliers in plush chairs, accompanied by a pianist who delights the guests a few nights a week.

Breakfast at Liberty
The Regina Sporting Club is open daily from 7am to 8.30pm and features an indoor pool, relaxing grotto pool, multi-sensory showers, and a sauna. Spa treatments are also available.
There are plenty of watersports to try on Lake Maggiore, including sailing and canoeing.
