With ocean views to die for, it’s no wonder Elements restaurant has been voted one of the top ten restaurants in the Caribbean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menus feature locally grown produce, sustainable seafood and vegan choices. The Dine-Around plan gives you the freedom to try local independent restaurants with a hotel voucher, including Italian trattoria Lucca, classic French Papillon and open-flame dining at Texas de Brazil. Day to evening, the resort’s open-air beach bar dishes out snacks, smoothies, mocktails and cocktails with live music in the evenings.

Elements Restaurant
Slink in from the beach for Aruban-style buffet lunches and return for red snapper and spicy shrimp with sunset views. Elements serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with magical views of Eagle Beach and the Caribbean Sea.

Sand Bar
At the open-air beach bar, mixologists shake, stir and serve classic Martinis, ice cold beers, glasses of Bollinger and frozen cocktails alongside a menu of all day bar snacks and a choice of mouthwatering mocktails and vitamin-rich smoothies. Bucuti & Tara Resort is a great place to come and reboot and recharge. Not only is there an ultramodern fitness centre and complimentary morning yoga, Pilates and ta-chi, but also a first-class team of experts offering beach bootcamp, personal training, SUP yoga and sound healing. Kick off your shoes and try something new too, whether it’s the Pilates Reformer, anti-gravity yoga sessions or meditation classes taken in floating hammocks. The spa’s two small treatment rooms and beachfront outdoor cabanas come with a menu of island-inspired therapies designed to soothe and spoil.

Bucuti & Tara Resort has been making a positive impact on the planet since first opening in 1987 and is the first resort in the world to receive a perfect 100% score from the Green Globe body of certification. It has achieved Travelife Gold and LEED Gold status and is the only CarbonNeutral® certified hotel in Aruba. The resort is big on solar panelling and recycling and has lots of innovative initiatives in place such as laundry bags made out of old sheets and gym towels crafted from old beach towels. You won’t find any single-use plastic here and you’ll be gifted a reusable water bottle on arrival, with refilling stations on site. Food is locally sourced, leftovers are given to independent farmers and the hotel supports Aruba’s Donkey Sanctuary and giant sea turtle foundation.
