Beautiful hotel but room for improvement
Although this is rated as a "5" star hotel, there are a few things that need work to make it a true 5 star property. Namely: 1. Pool and towel service: most high end hotels have people who put towels on the chaise loungers and then regularly bring new towels to the guests. There are few things more unpleasant than sitting on a cold, wet towel for the day. 2. Food service at the pool is non-existent. It takes forever to get your drinks (in the infinity pool) and by the time the food arrives to the pool, it is cold. 3. Room service choices are terrible. There are very limited choices and if you stay here more than 2 days, you have exhausted all of the choices on the menu. 4. The buildings and wood doors need maintenance. There are numerous buildings with stucco that have fallen off and the exterior wooden doors are faded and worn. 5. The breakfast staff and maid service are nice and try very hard. However, the pool staff left glasses sitting by the pool for hours without bothering to pick them up. 6. The pillows are too soft and the bed is too hard. Positives: 1. The grounds are beautiful. 2. It is helpful to have a doctor come to the hotel to do your Covid test. 3. The "free" mini-bar. I think that this is a lovely hotel but there is definitely a lot of room for improvement to make this a true world class property.
The perfect hotel for a wonderful honeymoon
ThIs hotel has some of the best service we have ever experienced. We arrived and there were a couple of small problems that were rectified immediately by Javier the hotel manager, from that moment on our stay could not have been more perfect. Javier was very kind, took time to understand what we wanted from our trip and made our stay v special, the receptionist Judith was super helpful booking us some local restaurants and helping us understand what to do around the area. The setting is stunning with infinity pools, wild meadows, sea views and glorious little hideaways. The rooms are simple, but chic with great bathrooms, whirlpool baths, indoor and outdoor showers and super nice products as well as a private terrace. The food is exceptional, as is the wine (we were given a wine tasting one night to sample Mallorca wines and they were great. The sommelier was very informed and charming). We could not recommend this hotel more and you get the added perk of being able To use the grounds and facilities of next door can simoneta too (we preferred pleat de Mars so we didn’t except for drinks one night). It has been a 10/10 stay and one we won’t forget
Impecable. Like an Aman, only better!
It has an impecable location, an impecable service, impecable food, and impecable arquitecture, layout and garden landscaping. The interconnection with Can Simoneta works perfectly. What more could you want? From what I gathered the smaller rooms are the smarter option. Don't forget to book the boar ride. Short but worth while.
Relaxation to the max!!!
Absolutely stunning! Relaxation to the max!!!! I cannot count the amazing things: Superb villas, fantastic breakfast, wonderful service, breathtaking infinity pool, very nice dinners. We had a deeply relaxing week!!! PS: I really like this concept that each sunbed has a barcode that one can scan and than get to an order page for drinks and snacks.
This place is our favourite hideaway for a vacation in the middle of nature, silent and graceful. Elegance is the key word on the premises, in the behaviour of the staff and in the art of Joan Bennassar. Everything is possible and service is impeccable. Restaurant Marc Fosh is excellent. Connecting hotel is Can Simoneta, where you can go and eat as well at the restaurant of David Moreno. We'll be back.
