This Mediterranean-style resort has plenty of activities for adults and kids. Star Camp hosts children from ages 4 to 17 with dedicated spaces for different ages. The 202 simply furnished rooms are set in seven two-storey blocks, each with a balcony or terrace. Superior Double Rooms have pool or garden views. With over 20 treatments to choose from, a sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool and thermal beds, there's plenty of pampering on offer at the spa.
Combining fitness sessions with diet, Aliveness is Iberostar's wellness programme with instructor-led classes.
The resort is less than a 15-minute drive from Alcudia’s buzzing town centre, where there’s a pretty port, a waterpark and a huge selection of family-friendly restaurants, shops and bars.
The resort has bicycles onsite – great if your family want to get out and explore Alcudia’s countryside. S’Albufera Natural Park is close by – a wonderful reserve of wetlands where you might spot rare migrant birds.
Blue Flag Playa de Muro, one of Mallorca’s best beaches, is next to the hotel. Its shallow waters make it perfect for family days spent on the beach. Watersports here include windsurfing, paddleboarding and catamarans.
The hotel has signed the UNECO Sustainable Travel Pledge and is also partnered with Max Hürzeler, offering bike hire, guided cycle tours and storage for 1200 bicycles on site to encourage the reduction of CO2 emissions.
The kids' club Star Camp has dedicated spaces for different ages – Monkey (4-7 years) in the Monkey Jungle, Dolphin (8-12 years) in the Beach Hut and Eagle (13-17 years) on Playa de Muro from July to August.
Family Rooms provide plenty of space for adults and children, with a separate living room with a sofa bed and large balcony. All rooms conveniently include a microwave for quick and easy meals for little ones.
Minimum stay: 4 nights 12 Apr-12 Oct.
The spa is open to kids from 9am-3pm, and to adults only from 3-7pm.
