This wonderful hotel is a relaxed alternative to Ibiza’s more typical party resorts. It’s a beach retreat and member of Small Luxury Hotels of The World, with a sophisticated yet informal vibe and sleek facilities. Sip your welcome glass of cava and make yourself at home as you gaze out over the Santa Eulalia Marina. The hotel has a marble and stone design and elegant pool decks, while the pièce de résistance is the stylish adults-only rooftop pool and infinity pool by the sea, with breathtaking views. Sink into a plush day bed by the pool and sip refreshing frozen Mojitos at Scuba, a striking rooftop bar and terrace, while watching the sun set and enjoying chill-out music with DJs playing into the evening. All guests can enjoy access to the excellent Revival Spa by Clarins circuit which features indoor pools, a sauna, steamroom, ice fountain and rain showers – perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. Begin your day with a relaxed breakfast buffet at Oligo which serves local produce including fresh fruit, cold cuts, salads, oysters and Champagne as well as refreshing smoothies and freshly squeezed juices. The elegant Alabastro Lounge serves healthy dishes for lunch with a fusion of Ibizan and international cuisine, and you can go for dinner at Maymanta which serves Peruvian cuisine by Omar Malpartida like ceviche, oysters or Amazonian patacón. The light and airy rooms have been designed under the principles of feng shui and have large windows and mood lighting plus free Wi-Fi and a balcony or terrace. Deluxe Dreamer Rooms have mountain views while Deluxe Pool View Rooms overlook the pool, and we recommend upgrading to a spacious Junior Suite Standard with Sea View. The lavish Corner Suites are spacious loft-style suites with a romantic canopy bed and views over the pool; the Cloud Nine Suites are set on the exclusive fourth floor, with private check-in, expansive living areas and pool or, for a supplement, sea views.
After a major revamp, Hotel Torre del Mar is making waves on the White Isle. A short hop from Ibiza Town and right on the island's longest stretch of beach, Playa d’en Bossa, this beachfront hotel has great day-to-night vibes. Think chilled daytime hangouts followed by heady hedonism at some of the island’s best late-night spots once the sun goes down. The hotel has everything you need for a tranquil escape: the Mediterranean-inspired Panoramic Restaurant with lovely views and buffet breakfast; a pair of great bars where you can grab a drink; an outdoor terrace with sail-white loungers, Balinese day beds and whirlpool bath; and the beachfront Sal Rossa Spa with sea-view pool, sauna and steamroom. On the menu is a vast range of face and body treatments – don’t miss the heavenly Polynesian face and body ritual. But the standout is a huge infinity pool that melts into the horizon – a diamond sparkle bouncing off the water. Beneath the gaze of an old stone watchtower, a smattering of submerged sun beds is the best spot to relax on a balmy day. If you prefer your sunbathing out of the water, a handful of low-slung sun loungers line the pool’s edge, with sweeping views of the beach, sea and island of Formentera. These idyllic views can be taken in from some of the rooms as well, while others overlook the sloping mountains; all come with a private balcony. Opt for a Twin Sea View Room with Balcony for the added perk of an outdoor hot tub and hammocks, or upgrade to a Twin Superior Lateral Sea View with Balcony for all the luxe finishes.
OKU brings together all the best bits of Ibiza: wellbeing, barefoot luxury, enriching experiences and serious style. Imagine morning yoga on the rooftop, long lazy brunches backed by the gentle beats of the resident DJ and slow afternoon adventures exploring secluded sandy bays and pine forests. The Japanese architectural concept here aims to connect to the earth by using natural materials, and the dark wood, earthy tones and furniture woven by Papua New Guinea artisans give the hotel a real identity among the island’s abundance of white-washed properties. The adults-only 50-metre pool is one of the largest pools on the island and it’s the hub of this chilled-out hotel. There’s also a spa for Pilates, yoga and treatments. Guest rooms have natural tones and come with all the mod cons and plush features you’d expect. Plus, every room has a balcony. Stand-out rooms are the ones with cool extras, like the Rooftop Double Room with its huge sunset-view rooftop terrace, and the Swim-Up Rooms, where you have poolside sun beds and direct access to a pool shared with just five other rooms. The two restaurants are overseen by superstar chef Mark Vaessen. To Kima Ibiza is a laid-back restaurant serving an all-day Mediterranean menu with an Asian twist, while The OKU Restaurant is a special fusion-fine dining experience. For drinks, there’s a poolside bar and a juice bar where each juice and smoothie is made to order from farm-fresh fruits and vegetables.
