Pine Cliffs Resort
This large resort has influences from Portugal’s Arab heritage, and beautiful architecture which creates a charming setting. It sits in beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and red sandstone cliffs, with direct access by lift and steps down to Praia da Falésia. Enjoy use of the loungers, parasols, towels and a beach bar with a choice of sandwiches, snacks, grilled fresh fish, ice creams and drinks. During the warmer months, there are plenty of watersports such as windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaking and banana rides.
There are eight outdoor pools, a 9-hole golf course, five tennis courts and a health club. Budding Wimbledon champions can enjoy coaching and tennis clinics at the Annabel Croft Tennis Academy. Kids can let their imagination run wild while playing in the two life-size pirate ships and take part in a range of daily activities such as treasure hunts and games. There’s a great choice of restaurants which range from themed buffets at Jardim Colonial, the main restaurant, to mouth-watering prime cuts at the Piri Piri Steak House. Try some of the region’s fresh and delicious seafood at the O’Pescador Restaurant and tuck into delicious Japanese-fusion cuisine at Yakuza Algarve by Olivier. The elegant lobby bar is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of port or local spirits.
There's a huge choice of rooms, suites, residences, terraces and townhouses at Pine Cliffs all located at different hotels within the wider resort. Firstly, there's Pine Cliffs Hotel, A Luxury Collection Resort, a favourite spot with families thanks to it's close-to-it-all setting at the heart of the resort. Here, you have Deluxe Rooms, larger Grand Deluxe Rooms and Junior Suites as well as two-level Duplex Suites which have separate a living room and bedroom. The wonderfully modern and more upscale Pine Cliffs Ocean Suites, A Luxury Collection Resort is situated right next to the Serenity Spa (you'll have free access to the Oasis Thermal area of the spa if you stay here) and has a quiet-zone pool that is perfect for chilled out days under the sun. There are Junior Ocean Suites, the only accommodation in this area of the resort that is not offered on a self-catering basis, alongside One, Two and Three Bedroom Suites which all have a fully equipped kitchen.
As the name suggests, Pine Cliffs Residence, A Luxury Collection Resort, is home to Two and Three Bedroom Residences that will provide you and your family with a home away from home vibe. This section of the resort is a ten-minute walk from the beach access point, but the pool is the largest at Pine Cliffs. Each of the apartment-like residences feature a kitchenette where you can prepare home-cooked meals if you don't fancy heading out to one of the resort's restaurants.
Over at Pine Cliffs Gardens, which is located close to the entrance of the resort, you'll be surrounded by plenty of green space and be able to choose some of the resort's newest accommodation options: the One, Two and Three Bedroom Garden Suites. Close to the Gardens is Pine Cliffs Village, which is home to modern two-storey Terraces which feature a couple of bedrooms, living areas and a kitchen, and the more traditionally styled and individually designed Townhouses which have either two, three or four bedrooms and a full kitchen. We highly recommend upgrading to the Two Bedroom Townhouses Deluxe with have been renovated. Finally, is Pine Cliffs Suites, the closest accommodation to the golf course, where there are Two and Three Bedroom Suites.
