Kani Ka Pila means 'let's play music' and is the perfect spot to listen to contemporary Hawaiian music whilst indulging in poke bowls and the popular huli huli chicken.
There's a weekly schedule of cultural activities including hula on the beach, ukulele lessons and a sunset ceremony. Further afield you can make a poignant visit to Pearl Harbor.
Go snorkelling, kayak along the coastline or join a catamaran cruise. Stand-up paddleboard and surf lessons are available on Waikiki Beach.
