Days 1-3

Miami

Touch down in Miami, ready to take this incredible city head-on. Whether you’re after a shopping break, beach break, or cultural break, Miami delivers. Base yourself on the sands, near a mall, or on Ocean Drive near the beautiful Art Deco buildings. After your city break, pick up your hire car and drive south on the Overseas Highway. Explore Miami's Art Deco buildings, modern skyscrapers, lush Coconut Grove, vibrant Coral Gables and Little Havana on a four-hour guided tour. Finish with sundowners over Biscayne Bay.

Miami Guided City Tour
Miami

A thriving hub of art, history and culture, Miami also plays home to some of the USA’s most breathtaking beaches, which is where this guided adventure begins. Embrace the enchantments of the Magic City as you saunter its soft white sands barefoot before swapping the rolling ocean waves for a wander around the array of art deco buildings. Observe age-old hotels and establishments from times gone by before reentering the modern era to spectate the stunning skyscrapers that tower the vibrant city streets. You’ll also pay a visit to the lush enclave of Coconut Grove, as well as the city’s luscious green parks, The Kampong and the Barnacle Historic State Park. The next two stops on our itinerary explore Miami’s Spanish speaking community, where you’ll learn all there is to know about the city's Latin artists. The day will draw to a stylish close at Bayside Marketplace, where you’re free to shop til you drop or savour a thirst-quenching sip overlooking beautiful Biscayne Bay.

Enjoy the excitement of a thrilling Major League Baseball game. Subject to availability, we can arrange tickets for games which take place across the United States and Canada throughout the season which runs from March to November. Watch as the pitcher throws the ball as the batter takes aim to hopefully score a run. No matter which team you are cheering for, being in the crowd can be just as exhilarating as watching the game.

National Basketball Association (NBA) Tickets
Miami

If you are travelling to the United States or Canada between October and June, you may wish to include tickets to see a National Basketball Association (NBA) game. Subject to availability, we can arrange tickets so you can witness the speed of the game as the players power across the court to shoot at the hoop. As each quarter unfolds, the atmosphere being part of the crowd can be electrifying.

Day 4

Islamorada or Marathon

We highly recommend stopping for a night or two on the way down to Key West to break up the journey but more importantly, to see more of the Keys. You could stop off on Islamorada, a diving and snorkelling hot spot, or Marathon, a great choice for families thanks to its sandy beaches and fun and friendly vibe.

Days 5-6

Key West

Allow a whole day for your drive south from Miami to Key West. Crossing the Overseas Highway that links the Florida Keys is an incredible journey. Plan for plenty of stops along the way to admire the view. See Key West’s first tourist attraction, the Key West Aquarium, the world’s first open-air aquarium, then find yourself back in the 1800s at the Key West Shipwreck Treasure Museum. Stop by the Ernest Hemingway House Museum and marvel at the beautiful species of butterflies in the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory.

Key West Old Town Trolley Tour
Florida Keys

The island of Key West is full of fun and exciting things to do and see. Explore Key West in the most authentic way aboard an Old Town Trolley that circles the entire island. From the Southernmost Point to the quaint streets of Old Town, this tour has 12 different stops for you to explore all the major areas and attractions, with unlimited re-boarding along the 90-minute route.

See Key West's first tourist attraction, the Key West Aquarium, which was also the world's first open air aquarium. Moving on to Harry Truman’s Little White House which is the state of Florida’s only presidential suite with a rich history spanning back to 1912. The Oldest House Museum is also nearby; it's one of the many beautifully restored homes that are open to the public in Key West dating back to 1829. Stop four covers the famous Duvel Street which has historic significance with St Paul’s Church and the San Carlos Theater. However, it’s probably most famous for being home to nighttime hotspots like Sloppy Joe’s Bar and Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. Alight at stop five and see the Ernest Hemingway House Museum where he's rumoured to have written A Farewell to Arms - and don't forget to look for the six- or seven-toed cats! The next few stops provide some contrast; check out the Civil War-era East Martello Fort and Museum and relax on the white sand of Smather’s Beach. Saving the best till last with Stop 10 being at the monument that marks the southernmost point in the US, just 90 miles from Cuba. The tour doesn’t have to end there – you could head back to the Old Town to cool off with a drink and savour Key West with its shops, cafés and galleries. Make sure to stay in Mallory Square for an unmissable sunset.

Hop-on-hop-off trolley One day of unlimited re-boarding at 12 stops Complimentary admission to Sails to Rails Museum Stops include Mallory Square, Duval Street, Southernmost Point and Historic Waterfront

Days 7-8

Key Largo

Having reached the southernmost point of the USA at Key West, you’ll retrace your journey across the Keys on a hundred-mile drive to Key Largo. It’s said to be the Dive Capital of the World, but even if you’re not a certified diver, you can enjoy excellent snorkelling here or even a glass-bottom boat trip to stay dry. Spend your final few days relaxing, or perhaps you’ll want to get out on the water and board the historic steamboat, The African Queen, to cruise the canals of Key Largo. You’re also within easy distance of the Everglades from Key Largo.
