Hidden amongst the tranquil gardens you will find Chi, The Spa. Amongst the lotus ponds, you will find nine treatment villas and the yoga pavilion. Indulge in Thai herbal wraps, coconut scrubs and aromatherapy massages. Yoga classes are also available.

Shangri-La's central location makes it an ideal base to explore Chiang Mai's old city, temples, museum and the famous night markets.

Shangri-La Chiang Mai has helped reduce pollution, created jobs and supported the local community through its biochar project. Biochar is made from organic material and is a cleaner alternative to charcoal.

There's a daily schedule of activities for children including nature art and ceramic painting, Thai handicrafts and eco tours.
