New York & Casa de Campo

This 10-night twin-centre pairs three nights in New York with a week in the Dominican Republic, giving you a proper city-and-Caribbean contrast.

You fly from the UK to New York in around eight hours, spend a few days rotating between museums, restaurants, shopping, and theatre, and soaking up the big city energy, then continue south to the Dominican Republic. Casa de Campo brings the second half of the trip into a completely different frame: beach time, golf, riding, restaurants, a marina, and Altos de Chavón, all spread across a private estate on the southeast coast. It is a brilliant fit if you want the holiday to feel well-travelled and restful, not one or the other.

Days 1-4

New York

New York gives the trip a big, brilliant opening. Three nights gives you time for the city’s headline moments, while still leaving space for the smaller things that make New York so good: coffee on the move, a neighbourhood wander, a long lunch, a museum hour that becomes two, or a Broadway night when you’re ready to stay up a little later. You can go classic with Central Park, Fifth Avenue, the Empire State Building, and the Met, or build the stay around food, galleries, shopping, theatre, or views from above.

Days 5-11

Casa de Campo, Dom Rep

The Dominican Republic brings the Caribbean part of the trip into focus, but Casa de Campo is not a standard beach-and-pool resort. Set across around 7,000 acres near La Romana, it feels more like a private world than a single hotel. You can head to Minitas Beach Club, drive over to the marina, book riding at the equestrian centre, try the shooting centre, play golf, or spend an evening at Altos de Chavón, a Mediterranean-style village above the Chavón River with restaurants, shops, galleries, and a huge open-air amphitheatre. Casa de Campo is also a smart all-inclusive choice because the scale gives you genuine variety across the week. There are beaches, pools, golf courses, watersports, restaurants, bars, food trucks, the marina, and plenty of places where the setting feels different from the night before.
