City Skylines & Caribbean Shores

Kick things off among New York’s iconic landmarks, dial things up in Las Vegas, then unwind completely as the Caribbean breeze takes over on a Princess Cruises voyage.

Your holiday starts in the lively streets of New York City, where iconic views and neighbourhood wandering set the scene perfectly, and continues as you hop across to Las Vegas for a burst of bright lights. After all the big-city buzz, fly to Fort Lauderdale before swapping sidewalks for ocean views on a Caribbean cruise with Princess Cruises. Over the next week, you’ll drift between sun-kissed islands, including Princess Cays in the Bahamas, lush Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic, and the impossibly turquoise shores of Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos.

Trip notes

Before your cruise

New York and Las Vegas make a cracking double act. New York hits you with energy the moment you arrive, all crane-your-neck skyscrapers, yellow taxis, and a to-do list of sights as long as your arm. Then you swap it for the bright lights of Vegas, where everything is oversized, over-the-top, and outrageously fun. It is like flipping the channel from gritty drama to pure sparkle.

Trip notes

A New York Wander

The Lower East Side food tour is such a good way to feel like you’ve seen NYC beyond the tourist to-dos. Instead of rushing past places, you slow down and hear the stories behind the street corners, the delis, and the old bakeries. You nibble, you wander, you disc ould never over little spots you w have found on your own.

Trip notes

Up, up and away

If there’s one thing you’ve got to do in Vegas, it’s gliding above the Strip in a chopper, watching the hotels turn into glowing toy buildings, then sweeping over to the Sphere, one of the city’s newer icons, lighting up the night sky. It’s the kind of memory that sticks with you for years. Thrilling, slightly surreal, and very, very Vegas.

Trip notes

After your cruise

If you want to keep the sunshine going a little longer, a few nights in Miami is a lovely way to end your holiday. Think bright art deco buildings, warm evenings by the beach, and food with Cuban flair. It’s relaxed if you want it to be, or a full-on party if you prefer. Either way, a pause in Miami is a sensational way to delay your return to reality.

Days 1 to 3

New York City

Arrive in New York and check into your hotel. You’ll spend the next couple of days soaking up everything the Big Apple does best. If you want to check off some of the most famous sights, observation decks, and museums, ask us to add a Go City pass to your booking. We’ve included a Lower East Side food and walking tour, as it’s such a brilliant way to get under the skin of the city. Expect local stories, proper New York flavours, and a true insight into a fascinating New York neighbourhood.

Days 4 to 6

Las Vegas

Fly five hours west from New York to Las Vegas and launch straight into that glow of neon – after all, a few days in NYC will have helped you begin to adjust to your new time zone. Vegas is loud, bold, and completely unapologetic, and that is exactly what makes it so fun. Over the next two days, take your pick from poolside lounging, outrageous shows, themed hotels, brilliant restaurants, and all the people-watching you could ever want. And because a trip to Vegas is never complete without seeing it from above, there’s a chopper ride over the Strip included in this holiday.

Las Vegas Strip Highlights Night Flight

Las Vegas

When the sun sets over the city, the neon starts to glow and it takes on a totally different vibe. Get a different perspective on Sin City at night as you take to the skies above the iconic hotels, record-breaking landmarks, lively Downtown and of course – the iconic Bellagio fountains.

Golden Eagle air tour from Boulder City

Las Vegas

This speedy out-and-back flight is the perfect way to see the Grand Canyon if you’re short on time. You’ll take off from Boulder City airport, fly over Lake Mead and Hoover Dam on your way to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon and be back at your Vegas hotel all within four hours.

Day 7

Las Vegas to Fort Lauderdale

Today, you fly across the country to Fort Lauderdale, a four-and-a-half-hour hop back to the East Coast. After all the sparkle of Vegas, Florida feels warm, calm, and wonderfully easygoing. Settle in for a relaxed overnight stay before your cruise adventure begins.

Day 8

Fort Lauderdale

Make your way to the port and board the Star Princess, one of Princess Cruises’ newest next-generation ships. Expect bright, modern design, incredible dining choices, spacious outdoor decks, and the iconic Princess Piazza at the heart of the ship.

Day 9

Princess Cays, Bahamas

The Bahamas is your first taste of the Caribbean, and you get to call at the exclusive resort of Princess Cruise Line. Think soft white sand, crystal-clear shallows, and that gorgeous slow-down feeling. Enjoy a barbecue lunch, wander along the walkways, or simply let the day drift by on a sun lounger.

Day 10

At Sea

A full day to enjoy life on board the Star Princess. Take your time over a relaxing lunch, book yourself a treat at the spa restaurants, or simply soak up the views from the spacious top decks. Sea days are for slowing down and enjoying the good life.

Day 11

Amber Cove, Dominican Republic

Arrive at lush Amber Cove, where palm trees, warm breezes, and turquoise water set the scene. Explore nearby Puerto Plata (famous for its role in the first Jurassic Park movie), relax on the beach, take a zipline adventure, or join one of the many water-based adventures. It is a beautiful stop with plenty to see and do.

Day 12

Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos

This little island is full of charm, colour, and Caribbean character. Expect bright buildings, clear seas made for swimming, and a lovely, laid-back atmosphere.

Days 13 to 14

At sea

Two dreamy sea days round off your Caribbean adventure. Think long, lazy breakfasts, sun-soaked afternoons on deck, dips in the pool, and time to revisit your favourite spots on board. Whether you catch a show or simply stretch out with a book and the ocean as your soundtrack, these are the days when you can fully switch off before heading home.

Day 15

Fort Lauderdale to Miami

Arrive in Fort Lauderdale, disembark the ship, and either make your way to the airport for your flight home or ask us about tagging on a few days in Miami.
