Rooms
The simplicity of the styling gives the rooms and villas a beach-chic effect that suits Mauritius’ easy-going tropical side down to the ground. There’s a real contemporary freshness to them, thanks to pale oak flooring, exposed stone walls, and rattan touches. Sheer white voiles flutter when you slide the doors aside to invite a sea breeze in. Then step out into your private outdoor space — it’s a feature of all the room types, whether it’s a balcony or a small terrace. If you’re considering upgrading to one of the newer villas, it’s worth remembering that while you get double the floor space and a private plunge pool, you don’t get a sea view.

Facilities
Although Bor Lamer is probably where you’ll dine most of the time, but if you want to switch things up, there’s a tapas restaurant serving up small dishes with a Mauritian flare. You can pick up street food from Taba-J, help yourself to a brew from, Teabaz, and finish a day with a cocktail in Bar Sea-U. It’s worth remembering that if you’re planning a day out, the hotel will prepare a picnic for you.
Bor Lamer
The hotel’s main buffet restaurant serves international and Mauritian flavours, championing delicious local produce in a beachy seaside setting. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Kot Nou
Feast on Mauritian tapas, drawing on India, Chinese, and Creole flavours. Kot Nou is an informal sand-floor restaurant with an open kitchen. Open for dinner.
Taba-j
Order street-food-inspired chilli cakes, rotis and more for lunch from the hotel’s friendly tin-roofed caravan. Pop back at teatime for hot drinks and cakes.
Moonrise
Although it’s not included in the all-inclusive package, if you love a lobster dinner, you won’t want to miss this optional extra.
Bar Sea-U
Perch on a swing and sip a rum cocktail or try a local Mauritian wine made from lychees.
Teabaz
Nothing like your builders’ brew, sip on delicate local flavours like cardamom-vanilla from this self-service tea bar and sweeten with locally grown sugar.

A small spa, Spa POZ, has three treatment rooms for massages, scrubs, and facials. You can also book manicures and pedicures. The spa uses products handmade locally using from island-sourced ingredients. Guests who choose the all-inclusive package get 20% off their first massage during selected hours.
Tropical Attitude is a brand of Attitude Hotels, which as the B Corp label. The hotel is free from single-use plastics and prioritises supplies from local producers wherever possible, including in the spa. The rooms have automatic air conditioning cut off systems in place and motorised watersports are not permitted.
