In 2025, W Maldives emerged from a glamorous top-to-toe renovation, re-establishing it as one of the most sought-after resorts in the Maldives.

The tranquil overwater spa, Away, has four treatment rooms where skilled spa therapists work their magic to soothe and pamper. For a cardio burst, there’s an ocean view gym with a wide selection of equipment including bikes and treadmills, strength equipment, and free weights.
Complimentary snorkelling gear is available from the Down Under Dive Centre if you want to self-guide around the lagoon. Day and night snorkelling excursions are available with the in-house marine biologist, either around the house reef or exploring nearby locations by speedboat or even a luxury private yacht. Scuba diving is available, too, and there’s even the chance to swim with whale sharks.
Other water sports include windsurfing, jet skiing, and parasailing. Big game fishing excursions are bookable, too.
