Chitvan Jungle Lodge, Kanha National Park
As nature intended
Chitvan Jungle Lodge is a wonderful wilderness retreat just a few minutes from Kanha National Park.
Chitvan Jungle Lodge is next to the core zone of Kanha National Park. Morning and afternoon safaris explore the park where there may be the chance to see tiger, leopard, swamp deer, Indian bison and wild dogs. Many of Kanha’s colourful birds and butterflies can be seen around the lodge. After exploring the park, take a nature walk or visit the nearby village, returning to the lodge where meals are served using organic ingredients. The 20 spacious suites are named after the elements. Akash (Heaven), Jal (water) and Prithvi (earth) have colourful interiors reflecting their theme. The Mahasagar Suite is the largest, a vast two-bedroomed suite with six private balconies.
