There are 401 rooms and suites nestled between tropical rainforest and fresh-water canals. Each room is luxuriously designed with calming colours and a contemporary touch. As for the views, you can take your pick from lush jungle or glistening ocean panoramas. Our favourite has to be the Presidential Suite “El Camaleon” with its own private stairway down to the white-sand beach, luxe marble bathroom and a private pool to cool off from the Mexican sun.

Offering a relaxing oasis away from it all, The Fairmont Spa* is the perfect place to switch off. Take your pick from an extensive selection of luxurious treatments including full body massages, age defying facials and gel manicures. The hotel also boasts a fully-equipped fitness centre* featuring everything from free weights to cardiovascular equipment.
A sustainable hotel, Fairmont Mayakoba was designed and built to protect the mangroves that surround it. The hotel cares for its natural setting and has made sure to preserve the green areas between buildings in order to create a natural habitat for animals. There are also a number of sustainable initiatives in place including a Waste Management Program and an Environmentally Friendly Program.
A family-friendly hotel, the Fairmont Mayakoba caters to the younger crowd with a dedicated kids’ pool and restaurants offering children’s menus.
