There’s no shortage of spectacular scenery in the Okanagan, but the views from Predator Ridge are pretty hard to beat. Set high above Vernon, it’s a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by dense pine forests and lush rolling grasslands, with sweeping vistas stretching from the depths of the valley to the shimmering waters of Okanagan Lake. The hotel itself has a relaxed, outdoorsy appeal to it, but it still feels polished and well put-together. Think chic interiors, elegant dining spots and a bunch of top notch amenities thrown in for good measure. Active types can while the days away hiking, biking, golfing or playing tennis, while those looking to slow the pace will love the lakeside wineries and postcard-perfect setting.

When it comes to food and drink, you’re well catered for here, from laid back café stops to Italian favourites and relaxed dining with a view. RANGE is the go to for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a restaurant, bar and patio, while Pallino’s serves thin crust pizzas, baked pastas and classic Italian crowd-pleasers. Commonage Market is your go-to for coffee, snacks and essentials, meanwhile the Bunker Bar  serves up fresh food, craft cocktails and refreshing tipples in a laid-back beach atmosphere.

RANGE Restaurant, Bar & Patio

RANGE is the main dining spot at Predator Ridge and it’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s nice and chilled  here with a cosy lounge, an outdoor patio area and a menu of globally-inspired dishes made with locally-sourced ingredients. On tap, it’s a selection of Okanagan wines, craft beers and ciders, together with all the usual soft drinks.

Pallino’s Italian Bistro

If you’re hankering for something super comforting, Pallino’s hearty Italian favourites are guaranteed to hit the spot. Think thin-crust pizzas, baked pastas and fully-loaded salads. In terms of the vibe, it’s relaxed enough for a casual dinner out, but if you’d rather stay in, you can have your food delivered straight to your accommodation, too.

Bunker Bar

Bunker Bar brings a laid-back, beach bar feel, with a moreish menu of grab-and-go bites, craft cocktails and thirst-quenching sips.

Commonage Market

Commonage Market is so much more than just a shop. You’ll be in and out of this place all the time for morning coffees, snacks and those can’t-be-without everyday essentials. There’s even a few chef-prepped foodie bits available too, making it a great option when you’re craving something quick and casual.
