Paradis Plage Surf Yoga & Spa Resort

Surf, stretch, slow down

Sunrise yoga, Atlantic surf and Moroccan spa rituals set the pace at this laid-back beach resort.

Paradis Plage was ahead of the curve on feel-good beach holidays. Morocco’s first eco resort unfolds through gardens beside the Atlantic, with low-rise stone buildings, flower-lined paths and a glass-fronted yoga shala almost on the sand. Surf and wellness are central to the experience, from lessons at the beachside Surf House to Moroccan hammam rituals at the spa, but there’s just as much appeal in grilled fish by the water and long, unhurried hours on the beach. Spacious suites, bungalows and villas complete a stay that feels relaxed, outdoorsy and grounded in its setting.

Why we love Paradis Plage Surf Yoga & Spa Resort

  • The glass fronted yoga shala sits almost on the sand, looking straight out to the Atlantic. Sunrise sessions come with sea views and the sound of waves, and three classes a day move between more dynamic and restorative styles.

  • The Surf House is both a school and a social hub. Beginners can learn from scratch, experienced surfers can head out in search of the best conditions, and more than 18 breaks sit along this stretch of coast. When the weather plays along, evenings bring campfires and cinema under the stars.

  • Food keeps pace with the rest of the resort. Breakfast comes with ocean views and made-to-order omelettes and crêpes, lunch can be poke bowls or grilled fish by the sand, and Le 27 moves into Moroccan and international cooking after dark.

  • The eco thinking goes back to the beginning. Local plants were chosen for the gardens, materials were sourced within 30km where possible and Moroccan craftsmanship runs through the design.

Paradise Eco Spa draws on Moroccan bathing traditions, with black soap, ghassoul clay, argan oil and orange blossom appearing across its rituals and massages. The glass fronted yoga shala hosts three classes a day, with private sessions available too. Fitness has indoor and outdoor spaces for strength, cardio, HIIT, stretching and boxing. Yoga and surf classes are charged separately.

The Surf House is the hub for lessons and time on the water, whether you are standing on a board for the first time or already know your way around a wave. Boards and wetsuits are available through the surf programme, and more experienced surfers can head out with a local guide to find the best conditions among more than 18 nearby spots.

Paradis Plage was created with sustainability in mind from the start. It is Green Key certified and works with Surfrider on beach clean ups and environmental awareness.

The Kid's Club is for children aged 4 to 11, with outdoor games, creative workshops, sandcastle competitions and beach clean ups. There’s also a grassy play area with a zip wire, swings, slide and climbing frames, plus a children’s pool. Babysitting can be arranged at extra cost for younger children, while older children will get most from the beach and surf side of the resort. Two-bedroom Prestige Suites and three-bedroom villas give families proper living space back at base.
