Kudu Camp is a natural safari partner for a Kenya coast escape, especially if you’re heading to Watamu or Malindi for Indian Ocean beaches. Overlooking the Galana River near the Sala Gate entrance to Tsavo East, it gives you tented suites with river view terraces, an infinity pool with wild Galana views, open-air dining, sunset drinks, and easy access to one of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife landscapes. Tsavo East is known for huge skies, open plains, superb birdlife, and elephants that often look brick-red after dusting themselves in the park’s iron-rich soil. Come for the game drives, stay for the river views, then head back to the coast with amazing safari stories.

Rooms
Accommodation is spread across 18 tented suites, each with a private terrace and views towards the Galana River or surrounding bush. The style is comfortable rather than fussy, with proper beds, private bathrooms, and practical touches such as Wi-Fi. Choose the Deluxe Tent if there are one or two of you, or the Family Tent for up to four.
Kudu’s standard tented suite keeps the focus exactly where it should be: the Galana River. Your private terrace gives you a front-row spot for slow mornings, sunset light, and the small movements of the bush between game drives.

The River Restaurant
The main lunch and dinner spot, serving Mediterranean and vegetarian menus by reservation, with the Galana River close by.
Barbeque Restaurant
Dinner under the African sky, with the fire lit and the open-air setting giving the evening its safari mood. Please note this restaurant is weather permitting.
Lounge Bar
Your sundowner stop for snacks and cocktails, best timed for the soft light over the Galana River.

Wellness here is simple and safari-shaped: river air, pool time, quiet terraces, and early nights under proper dark skies. The infinity pool and solarium give you a natural pause between game drives.
