Please just say sorry!!
We’ve returned to this hotel based on a couple of family priorities. The kids love sitting at the demo table at the Japanese restaurant and I like being able to use the gym before breakfast. On arrival we were sold the benefits of an app to book restaurant tables. After 30 mins of trying to log in I went to reception where I was informed by Nicole that “it doesn’t work until the second day” (would have been good to know at check-in) never the less Nicole offered to book us a place at the demo table. We were hoping to go Monday, Wednesday and Friday as the kids are so excited. After an excruciating amount of time she confirmed that there were no places at the table on any day for the whole week! When I tried to explain my frustration she said “what do you want me to do, I can’t build any more tables” shocked I suggested two things she could do would be 1) apologies 2) show some empathy. She did neither. I then asked if I need to book the gym for 7am and was informed it is now closed on a Sunday and doesn’t open until 8.30 daily. I said I was disappointed as that doesn’t now mean I can do gym before breakfast again she was keen to tell me she can’t do anything about it! She said she would email them but with lots of shrugging as to wether they would reply. I did go back later to get her name and give her a second opportunity to apologise on behalf of the hotel or at least acknowledge my disappointment, I asked her to confirm did she really say “I can’t build any more tables” she confirmed she did as “it is true!” Pretty poor service!
Another Fabulous Holiday for the fifth year running
Yes, for the fifth year running we were there for two weeks after two years because of the virous. I have written quite a lot about this hotel and the staff in the last four years. I repeat one can never go unsatisfied - there is every thing for every one . The cleanliness, food for breakfast, absolutely stunning view of the sea, very very friendly and helpful staff can make guest's stay very enjoyable. All being well, we will be there next August for two weeks. We were there for two weeks in September/October. The weather was very inviting with later sunrise and rather early sunset but it was quite warm all along and did not restrict any one for any activity. As for me I get up quite early in the morning even when I am on holiday and like to swim around eight in the morning. In the last four years when I did this I always felt the water quite warm - one could actually feel the warmth as you step in the very nice and clean sweet water swimming pool but not so this September. The water was cold and when I came out of the pool I was actually shivering and my limbs had become numb and took quite a while to be normal again. I inquired about this and some kind of explanation was given by the Management but did not make any difference for a while. After a few days it did make some insignificant difference. This is just my observation, not to be taken as a complaint. I will be there next August.
Lockdown lift up
Third bust to the wonderful hotel the staff and facilities were excellent as was the food the staff always friendly many thanks to Viven on reception for all her help . Also Jacqueline housekeeping also big mention to Tunde Kiki staff for helping with grandchildren and showing so much kindness. Yes they were catching up with closure following lockdown but wasn’t a problem the COVID learning curve which we all have to follow where ever has to be taken on board . Thanks for making our holiday which we extended looking forward to returning.
Fantastic Hotel/Amazing staff. Truly 5 stars.
I have just flown back from Lanzarote yesterday and stayed at the Princesa Yaiza. It was the most amazing hotel. The management and staff are fantastic. The hotel is immaculate. Truly 5 Stars. The food and service is impeccable, the pool, the grounds etc. I could not find fault with any part of the place during my stay. I will return to this hotel.
Beautiful hotel in amazing location.
Absolutely brilliant stay at this top class hotel. Staff are fantastic and really helpful and polite. We are coming back next year as it really is the most beautiful place you can imagine. Central location of playa Blanca beach where if you turn left it is a 15 minute walk to marina rubicon with fantastic restaurants and beautiful views. Turn right from the hotel and there are a multitude of restaurants and bars in the 15 minutes walk to brisas harbour. Pools at the hotel are amazing and the cleaning and maintenance is second to none. Really can’t recommend this highly enough. Thanks for a wonderful holiday
