Amazing Property and Awesome Hosts
It’s amazing property and to add to it the hosts are awesome which gives a True Tajness. I have always been fond of Taj hospitality but this stands out because almost all of the staff is a star. Shabana stands out amongst them (I would refrain from calling others as crowd as they are also fantastic). Shabana’s personalized attention to the details and comfort of guests is truly truly outstanding and her hospitality enhances the overall experience exponentially. God Bless the entire Taj team.

we had a great stay at taj. This my second visit to Taj Goa in less than 8 months. Thank you for such a great experience. Special shout out for restaurant mangers Mr. Sumesh Nair And Mr. Sharma and their entire staff who went out of the way to accommodate our toddlers.
Disgusting and spoiled holidays for a hell lot of money. NOT SUITABLE for foreigners who ever been in a real five-star
I stayed Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Goa in Benaulim Indulgence Villa Mon 23 May - Thu 26 May It was a disaster experience due to horrible management for this hotel. Coming to a luxury 5-star hotel you expect proper treatment and a certain standard. Our Indulgence villa was perfect in terms of cleaniness (great kudos to cleaning workers, those were the only ones really working at the property) and design and size. Indulgence villa with the private pool is perfect and matches the photos. Lobster Village dinner is the only place where you can get a decent dinner, Sala Di Pranzo quality is ridiculous. Tea room is nice, too, very nice ambience, worth going. The outside area is beautiful. Tennis court is very large and has new rackets. Hotel tried to make up for their mistakes by cutting this horrible spa package that I took and arranging the transfer for us (we were unlucky to trust fake reviews and stayed in another horrible Taj, Taj Fort Aguada... so it was from Taj to Taj, they do not even have those transfers!) but I guess the management does not understand that if I spend 2500 EUR on three nights, it is not about the money, it is about the quality that I expect. I will not return to this hotel nor I recommend it to anyone else. It can be a nice cake but if it is full of salt, will you want to try it again even if they give you some money back? Disliked · Meeting & greeting: no one explained where the breakfast is, gym is, spa is, etc. We were met with an ad for the Lobster Village, for five minutes advertising it (yes, this is what people after the long flight and long drive need, sure!). No map either, so the next day we spent asking where to go here and there. Breakfast: the restaurant is all the time full, so we had to sit outside. We were all the time treated like third class passengers, no one attended us, because the buffet was inside. You order something from the waiters, they forget, so you sit in the morning like an idiot, waiting for FAVOUR? And this was every single day, started with this treatment. No variety in breakfast, food was extremely average, especially for us coming from Punjab, India, and Europe. Many liquid sabzi were extremely spicy -- this is a cheap restaurant trick to make people eat as less as possible. Half of the other things were uneatable for the same reason. If you are a foreigner like I am, it's unlikely you will find much to eat either. If you are Punjabi, you will burst out laughing looking at their "paranthas', it's just a joke. We tried a dinner once at Sala di Pranzo. Buffet which my Indian husband took, made his stomach ache for two days, it was uneatable and extremely spicy. I took only fish a la carte, and it was good. So do not take buffet dinner there unless you want to spend half of your holidays in a washroom. All was fine at the booking stage. The below took place on 25May2022. I asked for the hair colour but your hotel did not provide the hair specialist even with a single colour. I asked for the dark chocolate, dark brown, the most common colours of all. Not some neon blue or green. Poor hair specialist had to work with what was left and the end result was not at all satisfactory (not because of his work, the hair stylist was doing his job perfectly but because of your management). If you knew that I had a booking, that it has cancellation charges, why you did not inform me at least that you had no colour palette? Or at least ask for the photo to know what colour I want to buy it in advance or similar? Hair specialist offered me to re-do the colour but I have fine hair (I am NOT Indian!) and too much of colouring is very damaging to it. 2) it was offered to be done on 26 when I was checking out and all I wanted was to leave your premises ASAP (the whole experience with Taj Exotica was a nightmare). 2) I took the Sukha package (never take it! or any facials from them! Especially if you are a foreigner or use normally high-class skin care, they will ruin your skin!). This is what I had in a description. -wrap -deep-tissue massage -relaxing luxury facial (ha-ha!) What I got: - prior the booking I asked specifically NOT to add any colouring elements. I came for the wrap and it was with turmeric. I have blue white skin. Luckily, I did not get tinted, thank God but I specifically asked with no colouring which was not done. Massage was great with Narou (I hope I pronounce it right). But all its greatness was destroyed by your facial 'specialist'. I have done my facials in India and all over the Europe, I had different ones and I understand that all people are different but this was the MOST HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, DISGUSTING woman ever touching my face. In the description, the facial is RELAXING, and she brought the vapour/steam machine which was very painful to my thin and sensitive skin (I am not Indian!). I pointed this out two times. Second of all, she wanted to do black heads. I am not sure if you are aware at all of the procedure but it is bloody PAINFUL! It makes rashes and would have spoiled my face for TWO WEEKS (I came to this bloody Taj for relax and vacation!). I have done it in many places and I know it very well. It is completely opposite of relaxing, it is a cosmetic procedure and instruments have to be STERILISED. This 'facial' lady explained me nothing. I had to ask each and every step. Paid zero attention to my skin. And here I am relaxed, with my eyes closed after massage and she comes with first horrible steam, then with some instruments which were not even sterilised, to ruin my face for weeks. I refused to do it, then she started doing massage. I understand that in India you have different standards but I have never, never in my life had the worst 'massage' than this. Every touch was disgusting, unprofessional and horrible. All my relax was gone and all I wanted was for her to just end and stop touching my skin. Then this lady started doing head massage, I had shivers from how she turned my head, like I am a piece of meat at the meat market. I refused being touched by her any further. Next day I woke up with my eyes swollen from these 'luxury' face products. I do not know the product names or its ingredients, the facial torturer never showed, explained a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g (the massagist Narou explained me every step). This was a horrible experience with your spa and your hotel in general. Highly unprofessional and full of false promises. Your manager tried to make up for it and reimbursed the spa package but trust me, if you were touched and treated the way I was touched by that facial torturer, you would run even faster than I did. The Sukha package description is completely incorrect and if you do not do hair colour because you have zero colours, then it should be removed from services. Beach - dirty, with used bottles everywhere and blackish sand. This is not the place for the beach holidays.
Hotel Chef Mr. Sumesh made our Anniversary memorable one by providing secluded place for dinner. Arrange a cake with balloon decorations. Mr. raj helped us in check-in formalities, roomtour and other needs.
