Itinerary overview
Trip notes
Before your cruise
There’s a couple of options to start off your holiday; spend a few days in Miami or be best placed for your cruise and explore Fort Lauderdale. Miami is big, bold and glamourous while its neighbour to the north is far more low-key, laidback and less crowded. They both go big on street art and beach scenes, but the former is a party town while the latter rests more on its natural beauty.

Trip notes
South America soul
Tick off a whole new continent as you stop off in Caribbean coastal Columbia. UNESCO have bestowed world heritage status on the city of Cartegena and for good reason – its Old Town is bright, bold and bursting at the seams with history. And the culture’s as vibrant as the architecture with European, African and indigenous influences combining in one spot.

Trip notes
City vs nature
The varied ports of call on this incredible cruise mean that no one goes wanting. Visits to Colombia’s charm-packed city of Cartagena, and Limon – the gateway to the jungles of Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast – are bookended by two paradise islands. Aruba matches Cartagena’s character, but the vibes are Dutch rather than Spanish, and Grand Cayman has some of the world’s best beaches.

Trip notes
After your cruise
We’ve added on a few low-key nights on the Gulf Coast to round out your holiday. The pretty city of Naples is a shopper’s paradise – Fifth Avenue is lined with high-end boutiques and bougie cafés and restaurants. It also has a spectacular beach where you can while away a couple of days with a good book, a great view and a refreshing drink in hand.
