Lake Garda & the Eastern Med
A Medieval Mediterranean Tale

Have one foot in the present (on Silversea's ultra-modern Silver Nova) and one in the past (in Croatian medieval cities and Greek archaeological sites) on a holiday that’s full of European wonder.
The out-of-the-ordinary, asymmetrically designed Silver Nova is a recent addition to Silversea’s fleet. She has a capacity of 728 guests and is wonderfully roomy as she has one of the most space per guest ratios of any cruise ship in the world. Go on, spread out a little bit.
Itinerary overview
Trip notes
Before your cruise
We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off your holiday than with a few blissful days on the edge of Lake Garda. Pick your lakeside spot and pop out on day trips full of good food, good vibes and great scenery. Want to up the ante luxury wise and reduce your air miles instead? There’s always the option to travel between Paris and Venice on the oh-so-fancy Venice Simplon-Orient-Express.

Trip notes
All-in Cruise
On a Silversea cruise, you’ll experience ultimate luxury with minimal expense. Their comprehensive all-inclusive package features butler service for every guest, complimentary drinks served throughout the ship, and gourmet dining at specialty restaurants. And finally, your butler will ensure that your in-suite minibar is always stocked with your favourite spirits. Cheers!

Trip notes
Olympics heritage
This stop’s for the sports lovers or the history buffs (and those with a passion for both). Olympia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was the setting of the ancient Olympics from 776 BCE to 394 CE. There’s still a symbolic connection to the modern Olympics and every four years the iconic flame is ignited by sunlight outside the Temple of Hera 100 days before the summer games begin.

Trip notes
After your cruise
This is a full cruise with plenty of stops so it’s understandable if you’re looking for a little post-voyage slow down. We’ve picked Mykonos to pair with the cruise as its wonderfully boujee and as scenically spectacular as the ports of call you’ll be visiting. You’ve got the pick of our featured resorts but we’ve picked the five-star Mykonos Grand Hotel which overlooks the Ayios Yiannis Beach.

Days 1 to 3
